Never hacked until 2013. Hacked twice in the last two months.
Forget this nonsense. Done with WoW. Did some 90 heroics, LFR, PvP. Same old story, just a new paint job.

I used to play up until patch 4.1 was released, then i realised that this is an endless gear grind which will never end. And the fact that i didnt(AKA couldnt) get in a raid proper i was banned from the fun stuff.
Went back to wow a month before pandaria. This is what happened, i came back to my guild gone, my friends gone and i never left SW in four hours.
So i left again.

I had it happen for the first time after they changed it from made up account names, to the attached email. The authenticator stopped them getting access, just had to reset my account, and since them I've used unique emails just for my MMO accounts, never had a problem, or any spam mail on said accounts either.

Yeah, the email for it was only for XBox Live and WoW. I haven't used the XBox Live one for anything other than FA3 and I haven't played that in years.

Seconding the authentificator. Get it. If you got a smart phone, it's even free and if not, it's worth the money you pay for it.

JW if there's anyone on here I can send a scroll of resurrection to? Me and a few friends play occasionally and we're looking for more guild/raid members.

Is Wowhead still a good place to get info? I'm getting back into the game and am looking for a good site to help me get caught up.

I use noxxic.com for guides on classes and I use Zyngor's ingame guide to get through questing at maximum effectiveness.
Don't be afraid though: WoW has been casualized *a lot* and overall, a lot of things were made a lot easier (a LOT) than they used to be. I like it because now, even tanking is fun and not as difficult and complex as it used to be back in the days.

Good to know. I tanked a little during BC and WOTLK.... and I wasn't that good at it... mostly PUGs... some guild runs... no raiding though. I didn't Tank during Cata (in fact I stopped playing). And I'm just getting started with Mists.

Tanking still is the most difficult part. DD is, by far, the easiest: most of the time, you just run your standard rotation and occasionally move out of deadly puddles etc.
Healing is a lot easier too now. Healers got a massive manaboost and healing overall was improved compared to oldy times. Right now, I like playing a Disc priest - they mostly rely on preventing damage e.g. via shields and they are very, if not the most, viable class for raid healing. Paladins excel at tank healing.
Tanking still is the most difficult part but it's been simplied anyway - tanks now get a 500% threat boost just because they are tanks. It's amazing! Difficulty-wise, I'd say, from easiest to most difficult:
Druid > Paladin > Warrior > Monk
Druid's active migation is 5-7 skills and they got extremely good defensve abilities - I don't like being forced to watch at a bear's ass for the entire game
Monks are the new tanking class - they got a very high DPS, but need more preparation player-wise. Still: they are extremely fun to play!
The new talents are awesome. You no longer have a detailed skill tree, you just pick 1 specilization at level 10, eg. tank / dd / healer and then get talents. It's very simple but extremely effective.
There have been a lot of changes and I love the game in its current state. Yes, it's been "dumbed down" a lot, as many critics claimed, but on the other hand: it's so easy to just jump in and have some fun with friends. Don't have much time? Log in, use the dungeon browser and do a quick dungeon. It's cool
