There is a decent one by yakface here in Dakka, most of the fancy mini photo tutorials can be boiled down to the following:
1) Use the macro setting (little flower) on the camera
2) use a white background for better white balance on the photo. Sometimes a black background works well too, but for beginners, white is easiest. This can be achieved with a few sheets of printer paper.
3) you'll want 2 to 3 light sources to reduce shadows and to get the best brightness for the picture.

I've been busy
I lost both tails of these, They where too damn small and no matter how carefully I glued those, they always fall off. So It's wire.
I'm happy how the Samurais came out with both of their short and long swords.
I got a Kings of War dwarf cannon which is cool and all, but it comes with dwarf crew. Luckily I have a big pile of spare heads.
Finally, there was no room on my Skaven Warpl Lightning Cannon for this guy, so he joins Vandalands.
