Voted RP was stronger.
As was mentioned, it's ATSKNF and combat tactics that give marines their power. ATSKNF by itself is situational while RP means that if I shoot a unit down and due to range/LOS I need to shoot other necrons, that first unit can still prove effective when so many 'dead' models get back up. Though perhaps I should have voted about equal as where RP start being useful all game, they lose effectiveness as the enemy closes. ATSKNF gets better when it comes to last turn objective grabbing.

Honestly, I'm surprised the poll has turned out how it has. I would have expected more votes for equal, considering everyone seems to be in agreement that RP is more useful at range, while ATSKNF is more potent in close-combat.

some people just vote and move on though. Not many people hang around for the thread itself.

My cousin plays necrons almost exclusively and i Tau. I had to vote for RP(ghost arks just make it worse) because it makes them incredibly hard to table, or push off objectives, or push them back from assaulting my poor poor FWs.

That said, RP will usually have more impact on the game than ATSKNF. RP comes into play every turn, but ATSKNF generally only comes into play in the event Marines fail a morale test.
Since Marines are middle of the pack when it comes to average LD value, ATSKNF is almost a requirement to make the army usable.
My Battle Sisters would like to have a word with you. We have the same Leadership scores as you and we don't get ATSKNF. Despite this, we are still incredidbly viable.

Actually on a point to point basis, sisters pretty much aren't, not to mention the arbitrary restrictions like 10 BSS to be taken.
