So long as the model is about the same size and on the same base as the model you are trying to represent, you are 99% ok. Only haters will complain.

GW's view from the TOS rules:

"Miniatures
• All of your models must be fully painted and based and fully represent what is on your army list (including all
equipment).
• Every miniature and component must be produced by Games Workshop (Citadel, Forge World or Warhammer Forge). • We know many people like to take the opportunity to convert models for thematic and creative reasons. We actively
encourage this, but do ask that if you are going to do so, please check with the events team first. We may ask you to make allowances at the event in order to ensure there is no confusion for your opponents."

So, ye, GW are fine with it. I don't see why anyone else would have a problem.

That's good, because then you could only hit them with Snapshots! *Ba-dum-PSH* I'm here all week.

I thought of a similar joke.

I thought better of it.

I need some of the drugs that some of the people who post on this board either are on, or should be on.

Dante is a prime example of using a proxy. If you take a Deathmask head from the Sang. Guard, Melta pistol from the Death Company, and put it together with the power axe and body of a Regular Assault Marine .... you get a much better looking, plastic model that counts as Dante.

This is my plan anyway, and everyone that I have talked to said that it would be a better looking model than GW's original sculpt One even offered the suggestion of using the JP out of the Sang. Guard box to make it stand out more ... could be interesting.

Now, we like big books. (And we cannot lie. You other readers can’t deny, a book flops open with an itty-bitty font, and a map that’s in your face, you get—sorry! Sorry!)
