Man, your projects make me shake my head and smile. I remember a Death Korps army you made a while back. You wrote a first person narrative of one of the soldiers describing their plight. I thought that was great, really added character to the army. I have to tell you, this project is better. If its even possible, you are outdoing yourself. You are an inspiration to all us novice hobbyists. Looking forward to seeing the finished product.

Well thank you. Thats why I do it. I am not the best painter in the world, but I try and be creative and push the envelope in terms of theme and display.

Oh and by the way, I forgot to mention this display is almost 8 feet tall with the sail!

Just one more day until I leave! Both armies are offically done, although I still have to pack and take photos. I will hopefully at least get photos of the Empire up before I go.

Until tomorrow, enjoy the top of the team display, featuring a spare Manaan!

That is stunning...

Amazing work as always GMM, thanks for going out of your way to produce such things, just... damn.

"As I recall, your face was tortured. Imagine that - the Master of the Wolves, his ferocity twisted into grief. And yet you still carried out your duty. You always did what was asked of you. So loyal. So tenacious. Truly you were the attack dog of the Emperor. You took no pleasure in what you did. I knew that then, and I know it now. But all things change, my brother. I'm not the same as I was, and you're... well, let us not mention where you are now."

Loving this amazing project! Also wanted to just say thanks for sharing your work. You have such amazing looking final results, its nice to see the steps invovled and realize that with a plan and some effort many of us can not only be inspired by your work but make use of your documentation to apply techniques to our own projects.

I always love the very striking colors you achieve in your work, even if you set aside all the awesome scratchbuilding and such, your work would be noteworthy for the depth and feeling from jsut the paintjobs.

Looking forward to the finished project with great anticipation!
