I pick the Guard, and while I have many reasons to, the main reason is because they can counter ANYTHING.

Grey Knights. I bought them back in 4th, when they were the Daemonhunters. Loved their fluff and feel. Ironically, when alot of people had stormtroopers and stuff, I tried to do pure GK as much as possible. Then I quit for a while, and went to college. During that time my army became OP apparently. Then I graduated and got back into the game, as 6th came out and the GK were nerfed (slightly). I love them though, and am particularly proud of my old metal guys. Never had any other armies, probably never will.

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH! Orks obviously. No army is crazier or randomer ( except chaos grrrrrrr). Here with the Orks we shoot our less evolved friends through guns . We don't care about ne thing except killing and dakka, and moar dakka.

Only other race i have is a few Tau but they are solely to help Da Orks not to play on their own. I might flesh them out more if the new codex is sexy enough, but the sheer fact that i can build the most random/epic contraptions and legally field it is too appealing to me.

I find it amusing that more people claim to play Sisters of Battle than Grey Knights, Dark Eldar or Necrons.

Chaos Space Marines! Their devotion to demonic gods, their hatred and fury, bitterness, power-lust and egotism, their desire for destruction and tearing down all that is corrupt (whether or not they see themselves as corrupt is irrelevant), they're just awesome. Sure their rules suck, but such is the fate all servants of GW must suffer.
