Quote from him in WD: "Actually I enjoyed writing about the Sisters of Battle, particularily Bajola. I wanted them to give a good account of themselves in the story. Its not easy to stand up to the Sons of Russ, but if anyone can the Sororitas can - they're truely interesting, and I'd like to write more about them in the future."
Sounds almost promising!
Probably another story where they die horrendously to prove how tough the good guys or make a point of how dangerous the bad guys are.

Yeah, it'd be nice to have Sisters win a battle or two in BL lore.
But that's a problem with BL's authors being an incoherent mess with no common vision and no real standards of quality, more than anything. Thankfully, and despite everything, Sisters are now getting more attention in BL than they used to.

Space Wolf novel with Sisters as antagonists, huh?
Five notes of Imperial scrip say it's about the failed invasion of Fenris.
Still, the author's comment is interesting. Antagonists having names means they would show personality in some scenes, and as we know there are good ways to portray even the opponents of a story's heroes...
I'll reserve my usual amount of scepticism, but who knows.

I was gonna say...
I haven't seen the post where it was debunked, but if you can find the old list, look at it and compare it to the minis that have come out in the 6 or so months since it popped up. Either GW has considerably more foresight than we ever give them credit for, or it was obviously made by a SoB hopeful.

Dead? An army that can beat an Ork army is nothing to laugh at.
Sisters of Battle have been around since the beginning.
Nuns with guns would be hard for GW to put down without a fight unlike Squats.
Anyone who likes the Inquisition they are more pervasive than the Grey Knights.
Lots of character, cool mechanic of faith points and tough as nails.
Their whole idea is "If you do not feel pain when doing something important: you are not doing it right."

Ah yes, silly me spurring-on bad behaviour.
Gave me a chance to spout-on about them though...
The "ignore" button works if it is bad enough but not in this case.

Celestine is an amazing model honestly, anybody know how hard it is to cut the metal? I got a buddy who's making a slaanesh army, was thinking about splicing daemon wings/horns/affects onto a celestine model for him.

It certainly is possible - I've seen some good-looking modded Celestines. Wings are the part most often added/altered, it seems, at least judging from a quick google imagesearch.
Still not a mini I'd use for a Chaos army, given the rest of her appearance (equipment, facial expression, etc), but who knows what you might have in mind!

Strangely I don't really even like the Celestine model. There are so many far nicer models in the SoB range.

I've been trying to break my 'personal mould' if you like, for some time now. I have this problem with making decisions, Thanks to my depression I constantly question any decision I make, and then discount my own opinion.
I'm considering trying armies that don't traditionally appeal to me, such as Khornate Daemons or SoB to see it it helps.
I can wholeheartedly say, though, that if the SoB got plastics and a plastic Repressor, I'd start a little force in a heartbeat!
The Repressor happens to be my favourite armoured vehicle in all of 40k.

There is a bit more in WD thats relevant but may also be a bit of a spolier:
