Yeah that was an ork rule. Your wagons (and trukks, not sure) could carry as many models as physically possible. Downside was, that any that fell off during the course of play automatically died or something similar.

It was a 2nd edition rule for Battlewagons. Trukks didn't exist back then.

It was the old rhino, and used metal landspeeder crew with no backpacks or bolters. The old rhino, despite being smaller, has a little more headroom in the back than the current model. It's physically impossible to fit sitting or standing marines with packs on in the current rhino... I know, I've tried
