...I'm trying to decide on whether to go to ADEPTICON or GEN CON for 2014.

Either way, I'd want to play INFINITY over 40K.

Problem is - this will be my first 'live fire' INFINITY game - ever.

So, how was the tournament at ADEPTICON 2013?

Are first time players going to be "OK"?

I'm interested too although I'm aiming to come out for 2015, fingers crossed.

If I remember correctly I think I read the Adepticon tournament had a lot of no shows, but in general went off pretty well despite it's really late running time. Feast of Blades or GenCon will likely be your largest Infinity Cons this year, but next year we can only hope more locations flare up. If you make it out to FoB you can always crash on my hotel room floor . 3 days solid of Infinity.

What's the date on that?

And will CB 'officially' be in attendance too?

Oct 11-13 and yep Gutier "Interruptor" the creator of the game will be here.

Does anyone know how the tournament turned out at Adepticon?

Some of the terrain setups looked...interesting.

A few looked like very short ranged affairs - no places for snipers and such...
