I don't rage-quit, but I will quit if I notice that 1)I can't win 2)I am getting way too mad for no real good reason and 3)If the other guy is taking their time to try to make me feel like crap. Also as far as number 1 goes I am talking getting so destroyed on a first turn I have less than 1/4 of the army I did have. I figure I should analyze what just happened so I can make sure it doesn't happen again.

I'll quit if I'm in a game so lopsided my average life span is 5-10 seconds and my score is 1-15. Otherwise I stick it out, just because I'll get more points out of a losing game then spending time waiting to find a new server.

I've rage quit once, and that was when I was playing gulf of oman on bf3 and the u.s. team took both attack choppers, effectivley trapping my entire team in spawn. It was really pretty awe inspiring, they had snipers in the sky scrapers, two attack choppers and 2 vtol jet fighters and tanks just pounding my team, eventually they stole our jets as well. I would spawn, and was immediately hit by rocket pod/sniper rifle/tank round/machine gun. After 6 or 7 spawns under this condition I quit/

I'm known to rage even though I'm doing good and am winning. And COD games are the worst of that. So manny bullcrap deaths or teams that are so bad that monkeys do a better job at it. It makes me curse like a sailor.
I never really quit though. I'll keep going and try being as annoying as possible. Especially in cod when spawncamped... use as many explosives as you can take.

I rage-quit Injustice online a few minutes ago. My controller stopped responding, and my character was able to move, but no buttons responded. So I threw the controller, grabbed another, that didn't work, so I quit the match. Next match involved pretty much the same thing, only joystick worked and X, A, and Y didn't respond. I turned off the console, punched the wall, and walked off. Hard enough to make noise and hurt, not hard enough to leave a mark or break my knuckles. I also can't figure out how to actually play a match of KOTH and it's frustrating. For a game I've been looking forward to for so long, I'm preferring the FREE!!! iPhone version.

Mount and Blade: Warband can throw up some pretty rage-quitty moments. One I learned when I just started was do not ever, EVER, start out in the Kingdom of the Nords. Sea Raiders are ridiculously fast on the map, and can catch up with you effortlessly; they're also usually seen in fairly large parties; they're bloody everywhere; and they're comparable to T3 Nord Troops.
The other bandits in the game are fairly badly armoured, and not many of them utilise shields. Sea Raiders, however, combine both decent armour and the use of round shields, meaning that you have to hit their legs and feet with ranged weapons to damage them, or break through their resilient shields (and they can take a beating), both of which are difficult for a player just starting out, not least because, until you have decent (cross)bow or thrown weapon proficiencies, you'll have difficulty hitting anything at all with ranged weapons, never mind hitting a certain spot.
Getting close to shoot them is also deadly, since the ones that don't carry bows instead carry thrown weapons, which deal heavy damage and which are thrown quite expertly by the AI.
Dealing with Sea Raiders is extremely difficult until later on in the game, when you have a decent army of your own and decent enough equipment, but usually at that point you're enough of a threat to cause them to run away on sight, and you're also slower than them, so you can't easily catch them up. If you can catch them, they're a great source of cash (both by selling the items you get and selling them as prisoners to ransom brokers) but they're very annoying.
Most other bandits can be beaten by swarming them with men, but sea raiders require the use of heavier stuff, like decent archers/crossbowmen or cavalry, units that the player isn't likely to have at the start. So when you just start playing a game, and 5mins in, they come out, kill the few men you've got, steal your items and gold and haul you across the map to where they all tend to lurk, it's understandable that you might be more than a little displeased.
Bandits aside, one of the other most rage-quitty parts of Warband is when you're in a tournament, and you've bet on yourself and got through to the final round, and you're given a bow and arrow against an enemy with a 1H weapon and a shield. It's easier if you're mounted, but it's still very difficult to win under those match-ups.

Really? I found Nords one of the easiest kingdoms, you get great foot troops that can take a beating and just march up and kill any enemy while laying down brutal thrown/bow attacks (Huscarls backed by Veteran Bowmen).
And sea raiders are easy with a bow, lance and mounted. It just takes a long time. Ride at them, bank as they start throwing, they miss, do again about 10 times, always keeping an eye on the one or two archers in the group, when they run out of throwing weapons circle them with the bow and put rounds in to the bowmen, then gradually pick them off 1 by 1 with the lance. That's how I did it, and it is easy, it just takes a while.

I did say at the start of the game, when you haven't got much.
If you can afford a decent lance and can take the inevitable hits from bows/thrown weapons you will take (including the horse), then it's doable, but starting off there is like throwing your kid into the deep end to teach him how to swim, only the deep end is actually the ocean, and the other swimmers are actually sharks.

Rage quit League of Legends. I dare you.
If you leave a game, when you log back in the game will force you to reconnect to the match you left. Leave before the match begins and you'll be put on a five minute wait. Go AFK and you'll probably be reported, which can lead to a tribunal, and stuff happening from there.
In short, bad idea to rage quit in league. Just play it out.

Seeing how Injustice apparently has a bug that forces a loss onto the rage-quitee's profile, I find it awesome to rage-quit on a douchebag player. I had some arshloch (spelling? Germans, help!) use nothing but Superman's heat vision and keep me across the screen the entire match. Quit and handed him a loss to his record. Don't. Feth. With me.

Megaman is a perfectly fair game. It is hard as hell, sure, but it's always fair. You don't die because you're unlucky or sth., you die because you lack skill / haven't memorized jumping / shooting patterns.
Nowadays games are different, compared to the games we grew up with, they are kindergarden games with checkpoints everywhere, infinite lives etc. Back in our days, if you wanted to continue the game, you had to enter a 16 digit password. And no internet. NO INTERNET! If you were stuck, you were fethed!....and not in a good way!

Exactly. Your childhood...
*puts on Morpheus glasses*
...Was WRONG.
In all seriousness, that is precisely why it is badly designed. Heck, I love the universe of Mega Man, and I really wanted to get into it. But the games are so difficult and merciless that I can't really bring myself to like them-the gameplay is stopping me from enjoying the game. A hallmark of a good game, in my eyes, is that it is easy for a new player to get good at quickly. That's why I prefer newer games-they let me enjoy the story, universe, characters and so on without excruciatingly hard gameplay getting in the way. Also, I'm gonna be honest, I hate having to memorize pixel-perfect jumping/shooting patterns with the fury of a thousand Charge Shots. Losing a game by a single pixel is so annoying that it makes me want to punch a kitten (even more than normal).
Also, how hard is it to program in a fething save system? Having to write a 16-digit code just to carry on after the next day is not cool. Zelda could do it, so could Kirby, why not Mega Man? On top of that, the original had no save system at all. No save system+Gutsman's ridiculous memory game jumping section (which is IMPOSSIBLE without trial and error, something you just can't do without savestates due to limited lives and no save feature)=Keji Inafuane, I will hunt you down. In the end I had to actually slow the game down to 25% speed to get past that stage.
Saying that, I have only played the games on an emulator, so I may be missing the proper experience, and I absolutely loved Mega Man X (with savestates)
