Heck, Try your local church, When we almost lost our venue(Thank god we didnt) I inquired about using my local parish at nights. They didnt care even after i told them what it was about.

The problem here is they do care . unless what your doing is somehow linked to the church , stuff like choirs or one of the 100 organisation church has , they wont give you a room. I mean they dont let people do charity unless your from Caritas. My mom wanted to start after school learning help for children from poorer families and she only manged to get 1 room every 1 week for 2 hours , because she worked at a catholic high school and the director called the bishop to make the church give her the room , because the priests here didnt want to.
