Hi, was just checking in to see progress, saw Part I done.

Great stuff, you actually changed my mind on some stuff.

I wasn't going to take Raptors, but then I read your take.

I read pure Assault Jump Pack armies are out of vogue.

It was largely because of Overwatch rules from what I saw.

But "double-tap Meltaguns" are more than just Assault.

Going to seriously revise my planned list, thanks.

I never got why people said raptors were bad. I always used them with 2 meltas deep striking. One of the most reliable vehicle killing units in the chaos dex.

Returning for 9th

Well all-assault armies have definitely taken a hit with 6th Ed, but small squads with specialised weaponry can still deal serious hurt.

Exactly, take a Combi-Melta on the Champion for even more hurt!

Valkyrie you have done a fantastic job with the info, its awesome

one thing i quite like in this codex is the Dimensional key which basically make enemies assaulting my lord take innumerable of both terrain tests potentially losing models in the process and models deep striking don't scatter all after i kill someone in CC i couple this with the BBoS on an khorne assault lord with a squad on 10 khorne marked and iconed up csm with CC weapons and pistols and 2 flamers and stick them in a storm raven gunship (i know i shouldnt but its in my armies fluff and its properly pointed) and by the end of the 1st start of the 2nd turn the power is unlocked and my termies come down and plasma everything.

i run a 10 man squad of termies with PS and combi plasmas mark of slaanesh and icon of excess its a lot of points but when you can pin point deep strike the plasma can shred Armour and infantry alike i have finished off my mates baneblade a few times doing this.

im always looking to learn and become better so any comments are welcome, im happy to share my list to see what could be improved, i dont game competitively i just like to have fun

7000pts of csm and counting praise be to the Dark Gods

why dont GW do a Dark Mechanicus?

Great article. I'm just starting to play CSM and this has been a great help, especially with the rating of each unit. Are you going to make lists for any other armies? I think it would be a great help to new players if you have any other armies that you play.

How are you gentlemen. All your base are belong to us.

All hail the Magic Conch!
