Poll
can drop pods land within 1" of enemy models thus causing a mishap?
Drop pods CAN land within 1" of an enemy model and thus will mishap.
Drop pods CANNOT land within 1" of an enemy model and thus will auto correct till outside of the 1" buffer zone and not mishap.
I am unwilling to place an opinion on this subject.

Intriguing. Much like the poll I recently created, this one generated a surprisingly high minority opinion. 9% isn't a big enough minority that I would consider changing my opinion, but it IS big enough that, since I play pods, I think I will start checking with my opponents first to make sure they know how it's supposed to work. Thanks for the poll, Cliff!

Actually there is nothing in DP rules or DS rules that says you cannot place the marker in impassable terrain or next to an enemy model. It specifically does over ride this by telling you to place it anywhere on the board. With the changes to DS reducing the chance to loose the unit to about 17% but the chance to put it back into reserve to come back in next turn at 50% it's a viable gamble to control your reserves entrance a turn for better placement.
