These are all really nice and they look great in a group. I have to admit I too find Obliterators to be getting old and plus I always thought that they were hideous (not in a good way).

Unaligned, though I think they'd be great for Slannesh.

Great! There aren't enough unaligned/Slaanesh armies out there .-. I only know of 2 official Slaanesh warbands, Emperor's Children and the Flawless Host :(

Do they count as a Warband? They mostly come from the Emperor's Children..

Simply love that colour scheme! looks amazingly good and done so well too! the rhino in particular I am fond of and am now furiously trying to convince myself to not change my original ideas for my marines.....

Hah, thanks nerdfest! You should stick with you old idea, especially if you've already executed it on some figures. Nothing's worse than painting the same thing twice.

Alright, I got in the next shipment of models! I'll be painting up a Heldrake, a Forgefiend, a Defiler, a Land Raider, a Rhino, and (I think) a Devastator! I'm doing the Defiler first, so stay tuned for completed shots!

Looks great Tim.

I've seen that light blue contrast thrown in on a few chaos armies recently and I really like it.

Hey, thanks for all the love you guys! I'm going to be breaking out my airbrush for all of these tanks and Daemon engines that I'm doing in this batch, so that will be very interesting. Since these figures (esp. the Defiler) have so many flat areas, only using line highlighting just won't look good. So, I'm going to be using the airbrush to apply a mid-tone color gradient to those flat bits. Then I'll go back in, blackline, and highlight with my usual lightest color.

Should be fun!
