What a coincidence that i replaced that exact same guys' pistol with a flamer. (he's still a loyalist tho) also everything about the GS that was said above^^

Possibly, and I will do that with some minis. The fluff does state that some red corsairs just paint on the cross though. Possibly as an insult to their former chapter.

As for the gs I'm experimenting on a larger model at the moment. To get a feel for sculpting. I'm using milliput though as its cheaper and easier to find locally.

they might, but if it was me, i might just giggle and say "the emperor's extra bit of ostentation protects by adding to my armor, which is hilarious since i no longer represent him". or "trolololol, i was one of you, see? You mad brah?" and then don my spiked-out/blinged-out ceramite baseball hat at a jaunty angle.

I know the night lords repair their armor completely, including the imperial insignia, and then symbolically smash it, so it's freshly damaged for every battle.

It's mentioned inthe fluff, red corsairs paint the red X over their imperial markings as a two fingered salute to the false emperor.

And then there are the emperors children who continue to wear the emperor's own Aquila for the same effect.

häy häy häy, i have a fair number of blue guardsmen to finish, as well as my thousand sons army (9 squads of 9).

Then it's just a case of, finish my iron warriors and their land raider, paint and weather my red corsairs, re do my black legion marines and devastators, sort out my Khorne berserkers, pin honsou to his base, and the tiny issue of 150 orks that my stepsons pestering me to paint. I've considered it a long time ago, but I don't have the money or the space to get get a vacu-forming operation up. I'd need about 8 square meters of space to myself, and at present, there's about 2 square meters of space in the garage (and that's without either of the two cars parked in it....... -_-)

Ok. Not really a DV conversion, but I'll stick him in here anyway.
It's the termie Sargent from the AOBR box set. Somehow my dog got hold of him and made quite a mess of the mini.
After salvaging and stripping the remains, I was left with a somewhat mangled torso and an unusable head. I don't want to even think about where the arms are. Lol.
Anyway after a quick trip to my bits box, this is what I came up with

Just a quick update on the bikers,

Managed to get a bit more done on my biker champion, including a custom backpack.
Just some highlighting and skulls on chains left to add, then I'm calling him done.
All advice and opinions welcome.
P.s. just noticed the rubbed off paint on some areas. Will rectify that ASAP, last time I hand prime anything.
