In an infinite loop of dickery and counterdickery.
At which point the actual Marbo realises he's actually Alpharius.
Then Alpharius realizes he was Creed all along
Then Creed rips off his mask, surprise! It's Omegon.
Then the mask turns into Marbo and kills him

and Mkvenner walks over, stabs Marbo with a bayonet tied to a quarterstaff and leaves, never to be seen again.

And on distant Holy Terra, the Custodes noticed that the Emperor began crying manly tears of pride and satisfaction.
Humanity, once again, won.

In an attempt to steer this back to the topic
I'm definitely going to go for Mkoll, I mean, he out-stealthed something that can quite literally turn itself into a shadow. That's some serious awesome right there...
There's also the famous Dreadnought incident... That and he's basically just badass as feth all the time. Mkvenner as well is pretty fething awesome... I was always kinda annoyed that he chose to stay on Gereon, I wanted to see what other badass stuff he'd get up to!
Marbo is pretty cool, but he doesn't have much character...

Somehow I feel most enemies in Gauntverse simply exist to show off how bad-ass the Tanith Scouts are.
It's not long before Mkvenner breaks a Bloodthirster's back on his knee...

Yeah, Mkvenner's departure from the ghosts annoyed me, but I love that part at Cirenholm (can't remember the book, it's book 4 or 5), where he runs out of ammo and is just like "feth it, let's do this."
Also, Mkoll at Ouranberg

Marbo destroyed an Ork encampment single-handedly. Mkoll destroyed a chaos base with one ally, who only had a crossbow. Oh, and there were Chaos Marines in that camp. And Mkoll doesn't carry a demo charge or a special pistol. He did it with a lasgun and a knife.

We should do more "_____ vs ______" discussions...
Maybe turn this thread into it, rather than just Mkoll and Marbo?
