I want to say Mkoll since he is impressive as hell. He Single-handedly took out a Chaos Dreadnaught in a living minefield without any real anti armour weapons in one of the first Gaunt's Ghosts books.

Overkill is the best kind of kill. I need more Avenger Strike Fighters...

Arguably Chaos Dreadnoughts are the worse yardstick, because Gaunt's Ghost have Preferred Enemy: Chaos Dreadnaughts.

I gotta say mkoll. Just finished the Saint (2nd omnibus) and he is a pretty bad-a-mother-fether. Shot, stabbed, disemboweled and altogether destroyed, he gets back up and kills some fethers. Receives the blessing of a saint, kills a dreadnought, AND he gets the girl! what more can a guy ask for?

Mkoll definitely. Marbo wouldn't even know what hit him until his spirit was standing by the Emperor's throne and the he confusedly asked the Emperor "what just happened?".

The people in the past who convinced themselves to do unspeakable things were no less human than you or I. They made their decisions; the only thing that prevents history from repeating itself is making different ones.

On that note, can I kill a dreadnought with 4 flamers and a powersword if I claim I have Ghosts?

I always prefered Mkvenner to Mkoll myself after he cracked all that wacky Welsh Kung-fu gak.

Marbo hasn't been in any good novels, so we cant really side with him can we?

Mkoll isn't just nails, hes very likeable.

We are arming Syrian rebels who support ISIS, who is fighting Iran, who is fighting Iraq who we also support against ISIS, while fighting Kurds who we support while they are fighting Syrian rebels.

Excuse me, IIRC the 5th edition Codex said that Marbo destroyed... what, an Ork/Tau/Chaos/Don't remember camp ALL ALONE? And Mkoll simply overcharged a Lasgun and threw it like a Granade... Marbo could hijack a CDreadnought and make it autodestroy in the Chaos base. For extra lulz, of course.

The wolves are back! *feral howl*

Ven kinda scares me though, he is way to cold and calculating.

Marbo might win in a face to face fight, but I doubt he'd even get that far if he went up against Mkoll. The man was able to sneak up on a Mandrake (having previously tricked said Mandrake into chasing after a decoy).

Driven away from WH40K by rules bloat and the expense of keeping up, now interested in smaller model count games and anything with nifty mechanics.

Well it is impossible to tell as Marbo is always 1" from Mkoll while Mkoll is sneaking up on Marbo. It is an infinitely expanding loop of sneakiness.

With Creed and Huron an becomes an infinitely expanding sphere of sneakiness. Somewhere along the line the universe is "hidden" and no one knows if it will someday show up from reserves via outflank or has already deployed via infiltrate or scout and no one can find it. Perhaps it is already 1" behind you, QUICK LOOK!

I have to say Mkoll since he can lean back in a squeaky chair and have it not squeak.

Didn't he also outclass then kill a Mandrake assassin in a cat and mouse hunt on an active city fight and a chaos warlord.

Mkoll. He's simply way more badass than that silly Catachan. And I doubt Marbo could pull off that awesome moment when Mkoll killed Sagittar Slaith.

The one novel I did read with Marbo in it called "Jungle Fighters" ironically has marbo take out an entire ork encampment by himself basically, but obviously from my army choice I may be biased lol

Mkoll sneaks up on Marbo and kills him, at which point Marbo reveals that he switched places before the scenario even began.

There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices.

Yup, Mkvenner could take either of them (not only because he's some kind of martial arts god, but also because he's been following the ghosts, reknowned stealth experts, around for god knows how long), but out of Marbo and Mkoll, Mkoll would slit his throat before Marbo knew anything was up.

Marbo.

Badass to actually be in the Codex rather than in novels.

Also, Marbo got a homeplanet (that still pumps soldiers and the like) so +1 for him

I'd say Mkoll gets +1 precisely because his home planet was destroyed
If you were comparing them in modern terms, Marbo is (obviously) Rambo, and Mkoll is a ninja with a gun.

At which point the actual Marbo realises he's actually Alpharius.

Then Creed rips off his mask, surprise! It's Omegon.
