Just my two cents here but... isn't the emperor kinda perma-attached to the golden throne??? If i were to write rules for him he'd just be an immobile PSYCHIC GOD

Note to the reader: my username is not arrogance. No, my name is taken from the most excellent of commanders: Lord Castellan Creed, of the Imperial Guar- I mean Astra Militarum - who has a special rule known only as "Tactical Genius"... Although nowhere near as awesome as before, it now allows some cool stuff for the Guar- Astra Militarum - player. FEAR ME AND MY TWO WARLORD TRAITS. |

Its a good idea just some people are being total Doucehbags about it , the points would need to be astonomical and he would have to be fieled with a a unit of custodes and i would agree that you should lose the game if he dies

Quote that to.. Mortarion, Horus, Alpharius/Omegron, Perturabo, Angron, Kondrad Kurze, Fulgrim, Magnus and Lorgar for me please.. Then tell me what end of the planet you came out of ;D But anyway, all seems quite good, but I gotta say, if you put him against his equivalent points in Space Marines... Or even Crons, those Crons are SCREWED, he needs to have his points increased, IMO, and if he were ever to be sold as a model, he'd cost hundreds of pounds xD

This datasheet is set as the 31st Millenium Emperor of Mankind just as Horus has been given the rank of Warmaster. All Primarchs loved their father, although more than others. However when the corruption of Chaos set in, all that was left of their former selves was a power hungry and angry Zealot! As said before, this datasheet is set at the time when the Emperor returned to Terra to work on his secret project and Horus was promoted to the rank of Warmaster. Automatically Appended Next Post: BrotherOfBone wrote:

Getting a little sick of reposting this. But this Datasheet is set at the time when the Emperor returns to Terra and Horus is promoted to the rank of Warmaster, well before the events of the Horus Heresy!
The points cost is justified tbh since yes he is powerful, but he isn't nigh invincible since if you look at the stat line of Mortarion, he is T7 and has 7 wounds whereas the Emperor is T6 and 5 wounds. This is the Emperor of Mankind, albeit a little weakened purely for the fact that if he was 3000 points, no-one would even use him in a fun game or any campaign battles.
If anyone has been watching the Great Crusade on YouTube, hosted by Templarscrusade01, they are using unofficial Primarch rules and they are alot more over powered than this mere datasheet.

Things I like:
2++ and the FNP saves
2+ Deny the witch
Not effected by perils
24" minus 1 leadership
I like the sieze on a 4+ and the auto reserves
Really like guiding presence
I like the fluff to beacon
The LD test if he is removed from play is good
Things I would change:
Remove the 18" deny the witch bubble
Give him 'It will not die' special rule instead of the 6+ wound gain
I would not have two different strengths v MC's and non MC's for the burning blade rule
Furious light should only be D6 attacks (to a maximum of 10)
I dont like abolish at all, it seems too hard to play and keep track off and I dont like the idea of this dude being able to snipe IC's like that. I would just stick with Vanquish (but increase the range to 36") There are more than enough powers in the BRB for him to use.
Instead of having the "behind the emperor" part to beacon, I would change the distance to 12" anywhere.
Once the units have passed there leadership tests I would not continue to have modifiers, IMO the guys who passed are out for vengeance now and sadness wont kick in until after the battle. I would also GIVE them stubborn, fearless and hatred (everything) rather than take it away.
I would give him 1 more wound, WS and BS 10, and 1 more I
Things im Meh about:
Removing night fighting is a decent fluffy type rule, wont effect much but glad its in for fluff.
I am not sure what the stats for the Primarchs are or how they compare but on first glance it looks like a pretty decent sheet, congrats!

All good points have been taken into consideration and thank you for the kind words This is what I've been looking for since I posted the datasheet.
All your con points have been taking into consideration as well and the changes have already been made! However the only change I have not put in the "give all units stubborn and fearless" if the Emperor dies. The Emperor is a beefcake and will take ALOT to kill him so the serious negative hits the enemy takes if the Emperor is removed from play justifies itself since if the army got a wide buff if the Emperor died.....then you could be abit more brazen with just charging him into everything, so I'm keeping the negative effects as they are.
In the current meta, the Emperor should be able to defeat any of the Primarchs (depending on the dice rolls). However the current Primarchs will still stand a chance against him, but the strongest candidate against the Emperor would be Horus due to his sheer amount of attacks and his Strength 10 mace which also cripples units if they survive! I am also in the stage of changing the negative effect to poison attacks, which do not account for attacks made by Primarchs, simply just to balance the fight of the Emperor vs Mortarion if that moment should ever arise.
Thank you for the feedback, and as you can see I've taken it very seriously! All help is good help!

I kinda like it. Though I agree, the penalty for losing him should be severe.
I'd have something like all allied units take a leadership check on 3d6, those that fail cannot regroup, those that pass suffer a -4 modifier to LD for the rest of the game and gain hatred (everything).
Losing the Emperor would also grant your opponent 2 default victory points. (Not including the extra 1 they gain for Slay the Warlord)

Gotta agree with Peregrine on this one. If the Emperor dies, I wouldn't say it should be an auto-loss (imagine if he died turn one, after everyone brought 10k models to a venue?) but it does need to hurt like hell.
