With the humidity in Kentucky anything but the lightest clothes you can wear equals death. I don't wear them because I dislike heatstroke.

In the winter I avoid wearing formal wear because I just do not look the part at all. You ever seen those faces on Weiner dogs where they're dressed up as a hotdog, that "I'm dead inside" look? That's me in a suit. Or khakis and a polo, or anything fancier than a shirt and jeans.

I do look fairly sharp in a nice set of jeans, an AC/DC shirt, and a leather jacket though. A leather jacket looks kind of like a suit, right?

It's nice to dress up and take the lady out for a night on the town, here and there.

Otherwise, button up shirt and blue jeans is fine for day to day dinner wear for me.

I look mint dressed up because I'm jacked from the gym and my suit is custom fit for my enormous muscles, but I hate doing it because I feel fat and cumbersome wearing 2+ layers. This is a full-on suit though.

I dress pretty nicely with black dress pants and black dress shoes almost everywhere, my tops range from beautiful polos and tight-fitted shirts to really nice sweaters. As long as they hug my figure I like it. Girls like it too. Then I open my big fat mouth and ruin everything.

I love how this post is both self-deprecating and prideful.

Probably work

I look very good in a suit.

I don't really do the khakis/dress pants thing though. It's either full three-piece, or dress like a hobo.

I also feel like wearing sharper clothing is a big motivator to stay/get into shape. Once you realize how damn good you look, you're not going to let yourself go again. It also helps that any piece of well tailored clothing, be it a suit, blazer, shirt, etc. costs a pretty penny and going up a few sizes means being out a decent chunk of cash.

As someone who has wore a suit for years to work, and now can wear 'Business Casual', I still elect to wear a tie (at least on day shift).

It appears to lend an air of authority to almost anything you say (for the most part. If you say something stupid, even the suit won't help you).

If you feel umcomfortable, you're wearing it wrong.

No wargames these days, more DM/Painting.

I paint things occasionally. Some things you may even like!

I'm with you on this one. I don't even own a pair of khakis. When we have "business casual" at work, I wear nice slacks and a nice button-up, instead of the khakis/polo combo most of my co-workers go for.

And if you're drinkin' well, you know that you're my friend and I say "I think I'll have myself a beer"

What about a frenzied bear in a mankini?

I can beat down a bear in a mankini without looking like a freak.
I cant beat down a suit

I work in IT so rarely have call to get dressed up; but when I do I often feel like a... better person, for lack of a good way of phrasing it.

Maybe I should just get dressed up regardless.

I like dressing up, except for ties. I can tolerate them, though.
