That's all looking great, so much done! Looking forward to seeing the airforce (but not playing against it).

In not way an attempt at criticism, have you considered a light wash on the the armour to smooth out the drybrushing transitions? A light blue etc might tie it all together. If you were aiming for a more stippled look, I'll just shut up.

Stand down sir, how dare you.
My brush is as wet as an otter's nutsack.
I demand satisfaction.

But yeah, they are pretty harsh. I've only gone through 4 colours from the Vallejo blue, think Deadly Nightshade if you're not familiar to Verdigris with no mixing.

A glaze may be in order to knock it together a bit but number one priority is getting them all done to this standard then I'll have time to fiddle towards the end of the campaign.

Done some work on a pair of venoms.
The canopies are coming out pretty well if I say so myself.

Thanks a lot.
The last two pics show the Tamiya red after a single coat.
I've given mine 4 coats and it gets to a really deep red, very satisfying.

Okay, so it's been a long night but here's the nearly finished venoms.
Still some work to do on the splinter cannons and exhausts....and edge highlights on the hull.

Found a bit more time today so I made a start on my first Razorwing Fighter.
This model was one of the reasons that I started this army, I just wanted a pair of them flanking a Voidraven. Neeeooowwwrrr.

Yeah, probably somewhere near 1000 by the time I've done the other Kabalites (half done) and Razorwing.
Should probably start writing lists and learning rules...

Edit, just had a quick total and this pic is worth 910 with wysiwyg wargear, no extra grenades, forcefields, magic vehicle stuff and with just the Archon (excluding Lilith + Succubus).
They're expensive!

Nice looking army. I really like the flyers, sexy birds. Better then the flying dumpsters the IoM gets.

I might have to look into getting some of that stuff you used on the canopies. So much better then just clear plastic.

Thanks Nev.
Yeah, that stuff's deceptively easy to work with for great results.
Here's a little update of some objective markers that I made for the campaign http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/631406.page
They're super simple but work fine until I come up with some better ideas.

I like em, simple and effective. makes me think about doing mine for the campaign, I've got my Relic/Bases one, I'll probably end up doing some basic crate-y type things.

Cheers.
Yeah, they're super basic but functional and took about an hour with painting, minus drying time for the milliput/sand etc.
They're great on the small bases just to mark more significant battlefield features like quad guns, piles of crates and The Gates of K'Plah but give something more sensible to measure from.
I'll be replacing them slowly with some more thematic and well thought out pieces as time goes by.

So I've assembled my Voidraven Bomber!
Neeeeeowrrr....Although, actually not :(

Voidravens are invisible to all but the naked eye and mount complex sonic dampers that completely obscure the sound of it's engines : Codex DE

How disappointing that they don’t make cool noises. They just need to look twice as good to make up for the lack of sound.

I like the base, so much more character then the basic flight stand. You should put some troops in those ruins, getting ready to shoot down the bomber. Or a grot with a grappling hook, looking for a ride.

Wow it's huge!

The bomber is big as well/that's what she said etc....

Impressive, do you know what it's rules are? Basing looks great but they are mounting up and still not painted!

Yes they should make a noise, it's cooler.

Or the obligatory dead Guardsman?

Finally!
I've decided how i'll be doing my bases!
What do you reckon?
I still need to 'rust up' the Wych as i'll be doing larger batches as the technique is kinda messy but it gives an idea of how the infantry will look.

Sorry for the quick/blurry pics!
