I wouldn't stand for that its a lazy cop out on GWs behalf they sold you a faulty product they should replace it.

This feels like another tactic to get you to settle for the one you already have, they are hoping you will think its too much hassle to get a replacement.

In the past when they have asked me to go to a store to replace it, I just said no! its not an option for me and they sent a replacement. Sometimes they give me a freepost address to return the items which is fine.

Their customer service is definitely slipping especially when Finecast is concerned.

Under normal contract law the shop where the product was bought has the duty to replace it.

The shop can send it back to GW for a refund.
