So are blood angels completely screwed on getting a new dex? anytime soon? i feel like they have one of the worst books and arent due for an update for a long time.. ?

Blood Angels are mid-range these days. They still have a kick, but are overshadowed by some of the newer stuff.

The BA codex is fairly recent, so it may be a little while.

There are far older codexes that could really use the update too, after all

The Viletide: Daemons of Nurgle/Deathguard: 7400 pts
Disclples of the Dragon - Ad Mech - about 2000 pts
GSC - about 2000 Pts
Rhulic Mercs - um...many...
Circle Oroboros - 300 Pts or so
Menoth - 300+ pts

I really hope the Ork codex will come soon. Its been a long waiting time for us.
Sure the codex is still viable but there is less and less options left for us now.

So far we have Chaos x2, DA, Tau and Eldar. 2 bad guys and 3 good guys.
You can debate if tau and eldar are good but if you look at how they can ally I would say so.
And if they release Space Marines we really need to fill up with some more bad guys.

Please GW, gimme a new Ork codex for X-mas.

God yes, that would be awesome! I like our current codex, I just wish we could do something about challenges and taking from the front. If they kept everything the same and gave us a way to deal with those 2 things (like special rules or something) I would be pretty happy. Maybe WS 6+ warbosses as well.

If Space Marines are indeed the next codex, i hope the Iron Hands get some loving (Looking at you Ward, Ultramarines didn't need that many SC's and Pedro Kantor, while his presence does pay homage, was kind of redundant with the Imperial Fist SC).

Gods? There are no gods. Merely existences, obstacles to overcome.

You do realize that Pedro is the Chapter Master of the CRIMSON Fists, not the Imperial Fists, right?

Might wanna look at the amount of Salamanders/White Scars/Crimson Fist/etc.. loving that went into the Graham McNeill 4th Edition Codex and compare that to the amount of Salamanders/White Scars/Crimson Fist/etc.. loving that went into the Mat Ward 5th Edition Codex.

If anything, Ultramarines got robbed in 5th at the expense of everyone else, "losing" things like the Tyranid War Veterans so everyone could have Sternguard, "losing" Calgar's trademark Honour Guard so everyone could have one, etc... .

Almost there... I think if you tried a lil bit harder, you MIGHT be able to be more condescending. Maybe, just maybe.

No, really, the reason I avsked was because the only way that made sense TO ME was if the poster had somehow mixed up the Fists, so I asked. If that's condescending to you there must be a lot of awkward misunderstandings in your life.

Hehe, I thought this was funny, because while I agree the condescention in the first post wasn't really that noteworthy, this clearly is condescending.

Yeah, the redundancy lays in the Crimson Fists being Successors of the Imperial Fists so in a manner, there were two Imperial Fist based SC's.
