Heavy Gear failed for a number of important and completely preventable reasons. Don't forget that Warmachine's video also contains stuff that looks like gameplay, more than one 'jack and its content is not mostly the name of the company making it.

So it's more like 5 steps, not 2.

I only listed the ones that the average 8th grader would know to check/finish before handing in his homework. Sadly that was above the level Stompy were apparently capable of after months of secret work and a public four week countdown. It's sad that I have more hope in someone modding this game into the HG one I want than any genre type of official HG game reaching the market. Kudos to PP and their developer for thinking ahead and coming up with a feasible game that satisfies a relatively unfilled niche in the market.

At least when it comes out you'll be able to play Tactics and call it "research" for painting, so you won't feel so bad.

I would think that the game you would be looking at would be called "Hordes Tactics".

This is probably still VERY alpha, so we may be seeing the other two main factions (Cryx and Menoth) with release, but I am doubtful that there will be more. Perhaps they will do expacs or dlc for mercs, Scyrah, Cyriss and Hordes.

Why just 2? They have Cryx, Khador and Cygnar in the trailer... ?

Also, so super stocked about this. Turn based just made me go ''Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee'' all over the place.
