We really didn't. He was a recruiting guy, posting about upcoming available positions in the US. He was in no position to engage in actual meaningful communication with

Even if they realised their mistake.... they aren't going to go: "Hey get the baneblade, grab an extra sprue, paint the missing piece, attach it, and lets photograph it again so our web master can swap the 360 photo."
Why not?
Most companies would feel that using a damaged model in their promotional material would somewhat detract from the impact of that promotional material.
