Xena has to defend a village from the Romans. So she ties a bunch of Roman prisoners to X crosses as the outer line of defense then digs a trench full of oil in front of them.

THe plan? When the Romans stop to cut down their men you set the trench on fire and burn them to death.

It ends up not happening but holy #$%@ that's dark.

The previous episode was an Agetha Christie style murder mystery.

Speaking of Hercules, I never understood how in fights he would only randomly be super strong. I've thought about watching Xena again because I've watched it before as a lad.

Oh man, the nostalgia. I don't know how old I was, but I saw both Xena and Hercules. They were good fun.

I remember one of the funniest Xena's episodes was a time loop one where she was stuck in the same day. Funny how also it's one of my favorite humorous episodes of Stargate SG1
