1. Ocarina of Time/Majoras Mask - Some of the best memories I have are just running around trying to solve the puzzles with a friend. I was thoroughly impressed with the sheer scale of the game, most N64 games had no where near that amount of content.

2. Diablo 2 - Back when it first came out, there was just so many players that you could find a group to do anything. I actually made a good amount of friends online by just joining random games. The whole trading and random loot system made the down time between fighting demons an adventure in itself. One minute you are poor as hell using pathetic gear - one lucky item drop later and you are sporting some amazing gear.

3. Super Smash Brothers (N64) and Melee - I'm not a fan of fighting games, but this was on a whole new level. Spent so much time just changing game options to spam light swords, bombs, pokeballs, etc. There is nothing more intense than a room filled with your friends watching the final 2 characters in a match, try to hit each other - each with 150% damage.

Picking 3 is just brutal though, I would honestly need 5-10 choices to truly do some justice. No one mentioned GTA 3...... the game set the bar for all other games around the time it was released.

Note: If you are 16 or younger, you got screwed out of an amazing childhood because games like CoD and Diablo 3 are just poor by comparison.

One game I was sad to leave off my list was uncharted 3, absolutely brilliant game and personally the only game on ps3 that would tempt me to get one over and Xbox, completed the campaign in a couple of days and loved all of it.

At the moment It's:

1. Halo 3: I spent over 400 hours in that game. Loads of fun.
2. Minecraft: It's minecraft, c'mon.
3. Company of Heroes 1, and now 2 or Age of Empires 2 (Now in HD): Absolutely awesome strategy games.

Poor ignorant guardsmen, it be but one of many of the great miracles of the Emperor! The Emperor is magic, like Harry Potter, but more magic! A most real and true SPACE WIZARD! And for the last time... I'm not a space plumber.

#3: Redneck Rampage. You could beat a cow to death with a crowbar, no difficulty at all, but if you shot at a pig at the very edge of your range, it would come after you!

#2: Masters of Magic. Simply the best turn-based strategic game ever.

#1: Worms. What's not to love about worms at war?

1. Pirates C64 (time of my childhood, when other people were chasing ball I was looking at the map of Caribean)
2. Warcraft 2 (It was a social hell when this came out)
3. Mortal Kombat (megadrive, live actors, never seen something like that, because I had Atari and C64)

ADB: I showed the Wolves revealing the key weakness at the heart of the World Eaters; showing Angron that his Legion was broken and worthless compared to the others; that he was the one primarch who couldn't trust his own warriors, and that they didn't care if he lived or died; showing that loyalty to brothers and sons is the heart of success for the Legiones Astartes, to the point even Lorgar makes a big deal out of saying the World Eaters and their primarch were massively outclassed by Russ, and Angron was too stupid to see the lesson Russ had sacrificed time, sweat, and blood, to teach. We're talking about a battle the Wolves won, by isolating the enemy general through pack tactics, and threatening to kill him, without a hope of defending himself. It was a balance, 50/50 - Angron overpowered Russ, and the Wolves were losing ground to the World Eaters; but Russ and his warriors had Angron by the balls, and barely broke a sweat. They won, no question. Lorgar even says: "The Wolves won, meathead."

Dorn won’t help you either. He’s too busy being the Emperor’s groundskeeper, hiding behind the palace walls. The Wolf is too busy cutting off heads as our father’s executioner, while the Lion holds on to his secrets, and has no special fondness for you. Who else will come? Not Ferrus, certainly. Nor Corax either. Even as we speak, I suspect he flees for Deliverance. Sanguinius?’ Curze laughed cruelly. ‘The angel is more cursed than I. The Khan? He does not wish to be found. So who is left? No one, Vulkan. None of them will come. You are simply not that important. You are alone.’ Konrad Curze to Vulkan

English Russia.

1) Fallout 3 game of the year edition.- Love this game, love the setting, love the side quests, love the humour, though it does feel unfinished as a game and the main plot is a bit rubbish.

2) Sudden Strike Gold Edition - The best WW2 strategy game out there, I enjoyed 2 for but for some reason kept going back to this one, and while 'commandos' comes close, Bad accents, and hard missions just tipped it in sudden strikes favour, this is a game where you must think about your plans and tactics.

3) Red Dead Redemption - You get to be Clint Eastwood, who doesn't want to be Clint Eastwood. the only problem with the game I found is the story gets really boring after you have finished you original goal.

Honourable mention - Psyconaughts - Just plain wired man! and time splitters, excellent for parties

Oh man, the first monster I see I'm going to sneak up behind him, whip out my wand, and shoot my magic all over his ass.

1. Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. I don't care what anyone says, I think Majora's Mask is by far my favorite game in the series, even topping Ocarina of Time. Unlike Ocarina (for me, anyway), Majora's Mask is a game that has gotten better with time, mainly because I can look at it and see a deeper meaning behind the people and places, rather than just another ice level, fire level, and water level.

2. Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater and Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. I'm cheating a little bit because I absolutely adored both games, just for different reasons. Snake Eater had some brilliant storytelling, characters, and gameplay, while Guns of the Patriots did a fantastic job of tying together all of the stories between the previous three titles. Plus, seriously, you just can't top some of the emotional scenes in that game, like the revisit to Shadow Moses and the climactic - and very nostalgic - final battle between Old Snake and Liquid Ocelot.

3. Final Fantasy VII. Yeah, I know, a lot of people say that it's only good through nostalgia goggles, but honestly, I don't care. It's a story with all kinds of highs and lows, the characters (to me) are always entertaining, and it's the game where Nobuo Uematsu really peaked as a composer for the series. For me, 7 will always be the best Final Fantasy there is.

Staying on target.....

Final Fantasy IX - Yup, not VII. Just liked the story and the characters a lot more than the others, also liked the medieval feel of the game. Plus trance Kuja is awesome.

Oblivion - so many hours, so much love.....

Pikmin 3 - now this isn't the 'best' game in the world but they almost perfected the balance on difficulty. Besides who couldn't fall in love with the little dudes!

One day. It will happen.

1. Bioshock

2. Mass effect series, specifically 3 (ending was "okay", but the rest was fantastic)

3. Halo series.

Ask yourself: have you rated a gallery image today?

Just that.

1) Civilisation 1 and 2 (won very close before Europa Universalis II)

2) TIE-Fighter (won very close before Das Schwarze Auge Nordlandtrilogie and Neverwinternights)

3) Deus Ex Human Revolution (won very close before Mass Effect and Red Orechstra: Darkest Hour)

1) Deus Ex: I had a lot of fun with this, great story and themes, and lots of Replayability.
2) Catherine: Pretty original concept for a game (at least to me), and it provides a good challenge with a lot of replayability to it. Personally I like it better than Portal (Shields self from oncoming thrown item done in rage).
3) Rome: Total War: I am a big fan of history, and this caught my interest with almost limitless hours of fun with it.

Without a doubt... what makes me think of these games is replay value, music, and overall feel.

1. Shining Force II (Genesis) - I got this when I was a kid, and still play it through at least once a year. Love the story, the gameplay (turn based spatial RPG), and all the different ways you can comprise a squad, making the game different every run.

2. Skies of Arcadia (Dreamcast) - Again, magnificent story, the VMU minigame was an awesome bonus (one of the few actually well put together VMU games)

3. Here we hit a snag. I have always been drawn to epic story RPG style games (FF7, Shadows of Colossus, and their ilk), but branching out, I became enamoured with the Mutant League games for Genesis (hockey & football) when I was younger. Now I'm not gonna lie, I still have various Pokemon titles that get brought with me on long trips, but I really think I'm going to have to go with.... SW Battlefront 2. (Xbox) It was one of the few shooting games to keep me interested.

"Chompa, chomp. Pachewy-chewy-chomp"

"Hive Fleet Garuda" 21-3-0

Current Campaign: Planetary conquest (where losing army gets 50pts extra next match) vs CSM (now at 600pts Nid vs 750pts CSM/Daemons)

You'll find me in the mind's eye

A top 3 list is far too constrictive to be good. Maybe top 5, but Im going top 10
1. Bioshock Infinite (America the only place you'd find people funding girls with cosmic marvel power level, and giant floating cities, also racism)
2. Dishonored (I have never played a game where the difference between a god tier player and neophyte is so great, seriously look up gameplay, it's cray)
3. Bayonetta ( the top 3 I love evenly like children. They're constantly even. )
4. Vanquished ( you don't even know )
5. Transformers: Fall of Cybertron ( sick gameplay and scale )
6. Prototype series ( personal )
7. Anarchy Reigns
8. Infamous Series ( personal )
9. Fallout Series ( I adore the setting and have an equal love for the games )
10. Thief
If you don't know what Vanquished, Bayonetta, and Anarchy Reigns are, You haven't really played a game
To those who actually have Mass Effect in their list (artsy scoff) take a look at Vanquished. The Graphics, and designs are better than current gen (far better than Mass Effect), the game is perfectly optimized, and the gameplay is faster than light. Seriously look at some Gamplay. I almost never shot my gun with that stylish melee.
Seriously look at this S***!!!!!
