I don't have enough games under me to compare any HS slot against another however if most internet lists take War Walkers rather than Wraithlords there's probably a good reason. They out-shoot Wraithlords and (certainly in non-Iyanden lists) out-manoever them too.
The OP states that they like the Wraithknight model. This would seem to suggest you consider him instead. Personally I hate the WK model, and its background twin nonsense and its price tag. I much prefer the look of the WL and use two whenever I can.
The fact that WL are characters is not to be underestimated, for challenges and precision shots, you're also charging with S10 in Iyanden lists. You're also not paying 240+ for something horrible to happen to just one model.
