I reckon they should be able to shoot into there own close combat. They savage they take risks.
An have some war boss traits. But just super crazy to enemy's an to them selves. An let them gegroup again

I like many of these. I also wish stormboyz had some access to dakka weapons because the thought of them flying a kite with something like a big shoota pleases me.

I also want an elite slot that can all take big shootas.

Really though if they just threw all the things into an armory and offered USR'S on some upgrade equipment and had a generic boy and nob elite unit who could take dedicated transports I would be happy. Orks sound like they gear up by just grabbin whatever anyway.

I also want to loot stuff off tau suits and strap it to kanz/deffdreadz for jump shoot crash. And we also should be allowed to take the ccws off for moar dakka.

Transporting stormboyz on the wings of dakkajets.

Bigga choppa and da biggist choppa.

Looted wagon as a ded trans option might be useful to. Giving up fast for 11av right? Good in the back somewhere.

No offense, but you are sorely mistaken... I have yet to run up against a single eldar/tau player I couldnt crump with 90-120 boys on the table all with choppas and a well placed power klaw...

You Sir, need to have a little more faith in the mean green machine. Unless your dice rolls are that bad (probably need new dice), the war of attrition will win 9-10 times.

Problem is, while Green Tide certainly works its real tedious to collect, paint, and play.

Far too powerful IMO.

I'd rather see something representing the ramshackle nature of Ork vehicles, like the aptly named Ramshackle table for trukks. They are not something with a clearly defined weak spot, rather a roving pile of motor powered garbage that needs to be ground down - but which at the same time can explode from a lucky hit even with a very weak weapon.

What comes to mind is perhaps something that downgrades Penetration to Glancing but also upgrades glancing to penetrating. Perhaps for each Penetrating hit, downgrade either to Glancing or to a "1" on the penetration table on a 4+, while upgrading Glancing hits to penetrating ones on a 6+.

Orks can charge after winning a melee


All armies used to do this, seems much better IMO. I reckon they just need something to make them more survivable after they win an assault - for instance a temporary FNP save for any unit that kills a unit in assault or makes them rout.

Or better yet, GW could change the rules here to take a more balanced approach. Snapshots only against a unit that just defeated another in melee. That sort of thing.
