IA12 a bit ridiculous: Tesseract Ark, Tomb Sentinel, Bomber and Pylons all at Heavy Support for codex-armies? Really?
they're all probably meant for Apocalypse play, anyway.
The thing the REALLY annoys me is the fact that we STILL lack a titan, despite the fluff being present.
(I'd gladly take a Canoptek version of that thing from Medusa V, even if it meant I couldn't take anything but Flayed Ones as support).
A titan wouldn't make much sense to begin with, though. Sure,
GW doesn't even try writing good fluff anymore, but how would the Necrons hide a giant Titan in a tomb world?
It's Quoted somewhere that a lot of Necron Tombworlds also have stuff like Dimensional corridors, so they can have a near infinite amount of space. I don't remember if that was in the Main codex, but I'm pretty sure it is.
As for
IA12 units, Ancanthrites are really good, the Gauss Version of the Pylon is also very good. I use the Tesseract Ark in nearly all my lists now, as I find that AP2 very good. It's an excellent all-round choice, and with the difference in meta, not a lot of people bring enough tools to reliably crack it.
I really don't like the Heat version of the Pylon. It is WAY to expensive. The Focused Deathray is pretty good, but, I prefer the versatility of the Gauss version.
