I am pretty surprised at the even spread. I am even more surprised that Chaos Daemons are on even terms with sisters and black templars. While daemons have a current dex, and the other 2 are laughably out of date. DE are down there too, which is a bit surprising as well.
Looking forward to seeing more people vote.

I'm surprised CSM is ahead of SM. Most are more or less where I would have guessed. I would have placed Orks higher. Nice to have these polls every so often.

Wow CSM and IG are almost dead even for top. I personally own 4k+ of IG and and still working to fill out Infantry squads, and vehicle squadrons.

I own the armies in my Sig but I also had 7k of Necrons and 1.5k of Dkok but I gave them to my 2 regular opponents so they would bring an army other than tau to our weekend battles and I also gave 5k of DA to another friend so we had a group of 4. Mostly did this for selfish reasons so I could finish the armies I care about.

Tyranids, Chaos Space Marines, Salamanders.
Salamanders are basically my 3rd edition army plus a few extra kits I bought when I was losing interest in the hobby. Really, all they do is sit in a box and gather dust.
Chaos Space Marines are because I've always liked Chaos, but never had the money for multiple armies in 3rd edition so I never bought them. Grabbed the Chaos side of Dark Vengeance, got a Cultist minibox for Christmas, and decided to turn them into a 1000pt army for giggles by adding a Chaos Marine squad, Raptor squad and soon a Rhno to them. Mostly just there as a painting project or if someone is over and wants a game, I have a 1000pt army they can use.
Tyranids are my main army, and the only army that, at the moment, is actively being painted and played.

4k Daemons > 9k CSM> 1.5k Grey Knights> 9k nids > 2.5k Necrons> 1.6k HH World Eaters.
Only played nids a dozen times since 5th ed dropped. Never played my 2500piont Necrons and my HH World Eaters are a WIP.

4 flavors of chaos marines, 2 separate chaos daemon armies, 1 chaos renegades army, Space Wolves, Dark Angels and also Dark Eldar and Orks in process. Selling off the bits of the 'nid project I had going and once done the orks will not be buying anymore from GW aside from codecies, unless they bring out something truly amazing for one of my existing armies when the new codex comes out for them...so my vote wouldn't work on the poll because I have 11 armies, but only 6 would be counted in the poll.
Not too mention thousands of points of british for Flames of War, fleets for Uncharted Seas, 7 blood bowl teams and tons of other stuff. Used to have a massive collection of Darkest Africa and British Colonial period minis, but eventually lost opponents so sold them off. Just started looking into forces for Bolt Action as well...just what I need...more minis.

Okay here we go:
CSM approx. 8000pts (Can field full army of each god). I have every last character model for chaos.
Black Templar (slightly different paint scheme so play as normal marines as well) approx. 6000-7000 (3 land raiders, 2 Storm Talons, 6 tac squads, 2 dev, 2 assault, 2 scout, 15 odd skimmers, 6 attack bikes, 3 preds, 3 vind, 2 whirl, 4 squads of termies (10man), 2 squads of stern, Most of the character models, all of them for BT, etc...)
IG approx. 4000pts (6Tanks, 4hellhounds, 8artillery, 10 odd squads of troops, 18 odd HW, 2aircraft, count Baneblade and Shadow Sword?, most of the advisors and special characters)
Grey Knights approx. 3000 pts (8squads of GK troops, 3dakka dreads, 1baby carrier, 1 Stormraven, 1 Landraider, all the GK characters).
I think I need a different hobby.
