Helcannon and Ironblaster. Accept no substitutes.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

The Skullcannon and Ironblaster are pretty devastating, because they don't have the same weaknesses of other war machines.
I would like to give another shout-out to the Warp-Lightning Cannon, though. Not because it's always going to do something, but because it always has the potential to do something. There are precious few units in this game that wouldn't be at least a little nervous when one is pointed their way.
The simple ability of laying down a small template on a rank-and-file unit, but also snipe a monster for D6 wounds for 90pts is a very versatile (if unreliable) device.

One of my Dwarf friends uses grapeshot a lot. He always rolls 10. That sucks.

I had 2 WLCs in a game against combined Brets and Ogre Kingdoms. (4,000 skaven vs 2,000 Brets + 2,000 OK)
I actually felt bad. At least I didn't take 4.
