Ankle fins. It IS an aquatic unit, after all.
Don't worry about them - Angel lGiraldez eft them off, too (most people will). You won't see them on the official painted models on the store - as Angel painted them.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).

Thank you!

I was dying to know, really. And yes, now that I know, I'll leave them off.

So I decided to share some of my army with you guys.

I was only able to bring part of my stuff to work and shoot a few models between customers and getting the gallery ready for the wedding, but there you have it:

A Fusilier DUN DUN DUUUUUNNNN

And his HMG team member.

I've been painting them over the last year (I've been into Infinity for less than a year)

You were painting them BEFORE you got into Infinity?

Wait...

So you started painting Infinity miniatures BEFORE you got into the game, and you did so by starting with arguably some of the worst PanO sculpts out there - the Fusiliers?!?

Now that is dedication!

Yeah, I got a starter set of PanO (bummed it off IronBovin to be precise) with views of getting a game in eventually. I knew you needed cheerleaders anyway, and it's great to be able to use the old sculpts to try your hand out for paint schemes.

I only wanted to see them in larger resolution. The miniatures look nice and cool.

No idea, really.

But I did just go in there and vote on your JOTUM, because, you know, Jotums are awesome, and yours is quite nice!

Look very nice, think that is one of the best examples of the hacker with acetate I have seen, much better than anything I could manage with it.

I don't think those older Fusilier sculpts are that bad, they have a certain charm about them!

I will vote also.. and give you a high score to counter the low scores given because your miniature isn't an ork or space marine

I'm not looking for 9s, but dang. Not even 5 votes on a single image. Maybe I just like voting.

Alpharius, if you like Jotums, I have a bunch of pictures of mine in better light, I'll post them soon enough (they're in the store's computer at the moment).

Uh, yeah, I like Jotums.

So yes, please upload more pics of yours in better light!

They don't deserve a bad reputation, they're only dated. The faces came a long way since then, but the most obvious change is in the scale and the model of PanO guns. It's not just rifles, the pistols were also scaled down, rather nice detail. Can't wait for PanO models with new guns, we already have the sleekest design of assault pistol. Hopefully there's also going to be LGL version, I understand the need to reflect the hi-tech feeling but sometimes it's hard to tell when a model is armed only with a rifle and when it has a rifle and LGL.

I agree about the gun scales. I much prefer, say, an order sergeant to a fusilier on that point alone. But hey, affordable minis. Watcha gonna do.

All in all, I think I really see the potential of the PanO list now, it's just hard to resist using the cool toys not to get called out on it constantly.

No, I only get to man the store on Thursday. Although if I have a few minutes, I'm stringing cranes there tomorrow night. If I remember you, I'll post them.

As soon as I figure out this whole gallery thing*, I'll vote for your Jotums. It is an excellent mini. I should paint mine someday :(

Gaze on the awesomeness that is...the JOTUM.

Look at the upper left side of the screen for the "Rate This Image" box.

Then vote appropriately.

That is indeed very nice! One of the best Jotum (Jotums?!) that I have seen for sure.

Voted. Thanks for the link. I'm slowly learning the strange ways of the Dakka Dakka forum.

And I know all about the Jotum and its awesomness. It is currently the only TAG I own. Although it mainly sees duty as a Tikbalang proxy. No Jotums in ASA :( Someday I will paint it.

Thanks guys!

Alpharius, I completely forgot about you tonight. I was busy hanging cranes for the wedding and it slipped my mind. I didn't even think about priming the cake toppers (hey, a modeler gets his fix however he can!)

Tomorrow, I swear, better pics of the Jotum in a more neutral light.

Before I incur the wrath of our beloved Mods, here are more Jotum pics:

This last one here is because once, Alpharius gave a friendly but stern "off-topic" reminder, and it felt like a Jotum's foot striking the ground. So what, I have a vivid imagination.

You still haven't told me where I can get those shirts.

Oh, and yes, it's all traditional brush work, no airbrush was harmed in the painting of this miniature.

I made that shirt myself via CustomInk.com - but I can certainly send you a link if you'd like to buy one for yourself!

And thanks for uploading the pics - very nice stuff!

So, are you Stylin' and Profilin' in a sweet new Jotum shirt yet?!?

I've got a Nisses one in the works too...

Wedding in two weeks, I'll wait just a bit not to incur the wrath of ma' woman. And for some reason, in French, Nisse sounds very feminine, I'm more comfortable wearing a Jotum shirt.

Today's mini is:

So I know an obvious question is "Why the conversion?" I know the mini exists, and I don't dislike it. And I am fully aware that some see the "HI in a trench coat" trope as ridiculous or useless.

But I had the mini, the bits, and I was looking for a way to reuse them, and I'll admit, I am trying to be a bit budget conscious. The back is a mould from the Nisse mini.
