No, not really. GW have their own 'style' of gaming, its all about gentlemanly agreements, fair play and playing loose with things, treating games as being 'co-operative' affairs where you play 'with' your opponent as opposed to 'against' him, and generally not being all serious about it.

Some codices and some builds will see more or less favour depending on the build, and the edition. dwarves can be effective, but not every dwarf army build will be equally effecitve.

you dont need the 'newest most op' army. if anything, GW seem to be balancing things better for 6th ed 40k and 8th ed fantasy, at least from what i hear.

No they're not. what you read intowhat people are saying is not the same as what people are actually saying.

you've got three threads up, and in each of them, you've been given advice as to what works with each, and how they can be effective. with respect, you seem to choose to disregard this advice, followed by imagining what people are saying, then developing your own fatally flawed and hopelesslly skewed and inaccurate conclusions from this, and run off whining about how you need the latest OP completely misses the point, and flies in the face of everything folks are telling you. take a step back.

if you want to play dwarves, then play dwarves. if you want to a top tier dwarf army, look to the top dwarf builds. then play lots of games, and most importantly, enjoy yourself.
