I second a re-try at a Spawn movie. I very much enjoyed the HBO show after watching it for the first time a couple of years ago. Haven't seen the live action and don't plan to.

I'm considering this a blessing. The only way Sandman could be done is in a full-length TV series...there's just too much crap going on to do it any other way.

Yes, Yes, and Yes. Just watched it again last weekend, of couse no one well every touch Lori Petty. But, I'll let it slide for a new Tank Gril moive. I also would love a Tank Gril model to lead my Riot Grrls.

Peter: As we all know, Christmas is that mystical time of year when the ghost of Jesus rises from the grave to feast on the flesh of the living! So we all sing Christmas Carols to lull him back to sleep.
Bob: Outrageous, How dare he say such blasphemy. I've got to do something.
Man #1: Bob, there's nothing you can do.
Bob: Well, I guess I'll just have to develop a sense of humor. |

The only good thing about that Spawn movie was it's soundtrack.

I'd love to see a Sandman movie, although, in the timeframe I'd like to see it from it was arguably DC and much less arguably DC now. That's the closest I can get to those parameters. I had said Superior would make a cool movie or very short miniseries, 6 episodes or so - and realized it's a Marvel imprint so that doesn't count either.
More Hellboy, of course, but I love Hellboy.
Also, I'll say it - the world needs more Tank Girl, even another movie.
the world needs more Malcom McDowell
saying that a Caligula remake should occur
or maybe a half decent anime live action thing... that's not La Blue Girl
(with all the CGI garbage these days one could properly do a live action Dragonball Z or Fist of the North Star)
