I will never walk into a match or tournament assuming my opponent cannot explode a Stormraven with intercept fire.

there is an 11.111% chance for the Icarus Lascannon to destroy a storm raven on entry. And a 2.4691% chance per shot for the quad gun.

For all 3 hull points on a quad gun: you have a 29.6296% chance to get some kind of hull point removal(50% of those include a damage result); and that leads to a 2.62012% chance to strip all 3 HP

Those percentages are at BS4

Since taking the Icarus is rare I would say you are pretty safe with only losing the SR in 1 in 50-40 games

GK LRC is the only way I will still field one; and that is because of Psybolt ammo(although the SR is still better here, it does not compete)

I might have to just keep it simple and put my BT Crusaders into Rhinos or Drop Pods instead of LRCs.
Use the free points to buy a gunship or something else.
