Kairos foresaw his own death in combat and subsequent rebirth against the space elves. It was his destiny.

Yes they can. You only can't assault after a scout move if you have first turn. If you have second turn, you can assault.

Directly from the FAQ

"Q: The rulebook states "A unit that makes a Scout redeployment
cannot charge in the first turn." Does this mean that if your
opponent has the first turn and you go second, your Scouting
unit can charge? (p41)
A: Yes."

Butter me with bile and call me a nurgling, I have been playing my corndogs all wrong! I will have to bring a printout of that to my next game. Many of my opponents see the rules as, no assaults on game turn 1. This changes everything.

I love you list, I have been considering something similar lately. I really wish I could bring a nurgle herald on drone so it could have a 4 horseman theme to it.
Kind of bummed to see the seekers never really hit combat, but impressed with how well the screamers did. I havent been sure what unit to buy more of in the fast attack section, but I think I will settle on another unit of hounds, then work on some screamers.

JY, assauting flyers, as I've seen you do often here. Is that a house rule, or is that something else I've misunderstood all this time?

When a flyer goes into hover mode it acts as a fast skimmer and can be assaulted.

Yeah, I like the theme of the 4 Horsemen. However, Nurgle is just tooooo slow for me.

So gonna go with the 3.5 musketeers instead.

Unfortunately, I can only protect 2 units at most, and that is if I get lucky and get Invisibility. Thus, there's always going to be 1 sacrificial lamb that will be led to slaughter. It's just unavoidable. The most you can do is to hide them until your indestructible units break into enemy lines. Then they become the reinforcements.

Thanks for the reply.

Yeah, you can assault flyers that are in Hover mode. Just a note here - not all flyers can go into hover mode.

As soon as you pulled out a horde demon list I knew my guys where in deep trouble, but you said you wanted to go against my air force and I was happy to oblige. I always make list that deal with mechs and MC armies but anything that relies on cover saves I’m always pushed up against a wall. If I could have tailored my list a little once I saw yours to give you more of a challenge, I would have dropped 2 Vendettas and put in my 2 Vultures with punisher cannons instead but those are the break and you play with the list have. Had a great game none the less even when I knew by the third turn it was a done deal when I had to start sacrificing my Vendettas just to kill the one Slaanesh Herald that refused to die, but I always play till either the game ends or I have no more models on the table.

BAO 2015 : Best Space Wolves.

The best battle plans are the simplest. Just run forward and punch your enemy in the face.

Bill, just wanted to say that it was a pleasure playing against you. You are a real trooper. I like your "never-say-never" attitude. When most people would just quit, you stuck it out to the very end, which honestly surprised me. Then again, if I was in your shoes, I probably wouldn't stop either...at least not until I've killed that Herald myself.

When you're having fun, why stop? Sometimes, even a loss can be fun.
