Dorn. More bling than you since the year 30,000. You gotta "hand" it to him.

Heh.

You know. Because they only found his hand.

Also, his Legion is the Imperial Fists.

Shut up.

I really want a Dorn miniature.

You carry the Emperor's will as your torch, with it destroy the shadows.

I suppose I'm the only one NOT interested in seeing the Lion... Just as I wasn't interested in seeing Ferrus. Not to say that they aren't very well done models, I just wasn't interested in those primarchs.

I think the coolest looking Primarchs would be Corax (Whip in hand lashing out as he dives from the sky), Magnus the Red (He'd be dueling Russ I'd wager.. I'm almost positive we will see a Horus Heresy book based around Prospero), Curze just because he has such potential to be draped in death, obviously Sanguinius, can leave it at the name.

I'm a big IF fan, but I don't know what they'll do with Dorn.. probably be standing all elitist on a pedestal so he can look down on his brothers.

No one has mentioned a Khan model... think they could do a cool job with the Khan on a bike?

You don't see da eyes of da Daemon, till him come callin'

He might come with a special base designed like a Razorback turret so he can be mounted on one as a diorama.

There has been a Horus Heresy book depicting the razing of Prospero since March 2010.

Anyway, Angron looks fantastic, Ferrus Manus and Lorgar look pretty good, and Fulgrim looked so ungodly fething terrible it made me bleed tears of pain out of every sphincter on my body. This is still a 3:1 ratio, so the odds are fair, just not as good as I had hoped.

I am looking forward to Magnus most of all, but I think his would be so easy to feth up, if only because it seems like every official artist that tries their hand at drawing him has done such a terrible job. People seem to have serious trouble with his hands. They are either so small that a Burger King burger makes them look tiny, or so big it looks like he could wrap them around his leg.

Since this is a thread about FW models, which come with associated stats in FW HH books, it's probably safe to say they meant a rules supplement based around Prospero, not a Black Library novel. Apparently, at Gamesday UK they announced that part of book 4 will be based on Prospero, so probably late next year or early 2015 for the book since they just released book 2 not too long ago (and are said to be doing 1-2 a year). We know Horus is next up after Lorgar, so it appears they're skipping around a bit on the order. Otherwise we'd have seen Mortarion and Horus before Ferrus and Lorgar. The book 3 slide listed Imperial Fists, Iron Warriors, Raven Guard, and Alpha Legion so it's possible one of their Primarchs could follow up Horus, or they could go for one of the as yet unseen ones from the first two books (Mortarion, Vulkan, Curze).

I'm surprised Horus isn't being saved until last. I'd also be surprised if FW didn't go with that certain scene I described before as a basis for their final character series entry. Is it possible that they will release more than one incarnation of him/some of the Primarchs?

I would not be surprised if down the road we see Daemon Primarch versions. Even Horus looks different in the art I've seen when you look at Istvaan vs Terra. And I would no doubt love to have an official diorama of that scene, I'd wager it's the most iconic scene 40k lore, and models depicting it seem like they'd be a license for printing money.

If they do a Siege of Terra book they'll basically HAVE to have Daemon Angron at the least as per Betrayer he was already Ascendent by then.
