For that "it looks empty but OH GOD THERE ARE THINGS HERE" feel of a Space Hulk, you could do much worse than System Shock 2, or the original Aliens v Predator - the Marine campaign.

Imagine answering a distress signal and finding the ships inhabitants have either been driven insane by warp exposure or become chaos spawns.

Imagine you are a space marine and you get deployed to a research facility researching inter dimensional warp travel and chaos worshipping commander eager for daemonic assent creates a warp portal allowing denziens of the warp to flood in and possess or mutate the majority of the crew.
