I painted these guys last week but I havent been off work since then to post. I'll admit they were speed painted in 4 hours because I wanted them for some games on Saturday (where they performed surprisingly well)

You can see the obvious tiger stripe idea, and while I think I could get great at them and neaten them up, but I think I'll just keep things as they are and maybe use the occasional stripe to accent my models but not full out tiger stripe them.

They got good feedback at the store though. I'd like one more, but gotta wait on the new codex.

I finished off my MC collection and got a Mawloc this week, a much maligned unit but she did great today in a fight against Tau that wound up as a crushing victory for the Tyranids.

I think I did the right thing cutting her off like that, she looks unique enough next to her big brother Trygon, which was my goal.

I really like your bases. The texture and color are very appealing without being overly done. I also like the white/purple tyranid skin theme.

I really like the Apparitition-like flesh color you painted, they look great!
