I don't know... I bought it and I'm enjoying it. I don't have any old WD's or older rulebooks since I stopped playing for a while, so this was fine for me!

Umm... no. That's absurd.

I've had that used as an objection to playing a game under 2,000 pts. Problem with that is, he can't even get through a 1000 pts game in under 6 hours -.-

I just picked it up. Layout is meh, game rules are cool. It'll provide a home to some of your power sword models in your collection for sure. I think my death company will really thrive here as well, since there's no 2+, 3+ w/FNP sounds nice.

The specialists rules make sense now, and there's 6 missions which are all pretty cool. It also takes care of some pretty common powergaming combos (like pink horrors) but doesn't really clarify imperial guard orders.

Well, at least he doesn't insist to play 2vs2 rather than 1vs1 while not mentioning he need to leave in one hour .

Do you have to pick minimum sized squads?

Or can you select individual models from squads (like say, a Shadowseer from the Harlequin entry without having to buy the squad members?).

It must be a legal squad.

The BL Kill Team rules are basically a cross between Combat Patrol and 4th ed Kill Team.
