Ya I don't play at the local game store much as I like to keep the game play at my house but I drop by the game store quite often.

They play 1500 and I don't really know if they have been using any of the expansions. I play 1000-1250 I find it the best to not over crowd the board haha.

40k is the most played game so lots of that going on but off topic is 2000 points of fantasy is the standard....kinda sucks for Skaven when I need like 200-250 models for that point value....can barely get my 40k armies to 1500 haha

1-2k for us, amongst the 20+ guys that play around here, I haven't seen Escalation come into play, and really only one guy uses fortifications other that the ADL, and has been doing so before SA came out. So our local meta really hasn't changed at all.

1500-2000, most often 1850

No comp this far, escalation is in, forgeworld has been in for years, double FOC is in.

I`ve had 5 escalation games at 1850pts with a non-superheavy list with no issues.

In my experience, all these "horrible balance problems" are just internet hyperbole from people who have not taken the time to actually test the rules.

There are lots of issues with the rules, mainly that they are very unclear or that there simply aren`t rules for situations, but it has not become any more broken/unbalanced than it has been before IMO.

95% of the time we play 1850 unless we play an introduction game for a new player then we go lower. The rest of the time 2000

2000 - 3500 points mostly. We like big games and all have big armies.

At my FLGS we normally do 1850 since thats the tourney points level so we are used to it, at the GW I occasionally go to its usually 2v2 with 1k per player since there are virtually no tables (at least the manager doesnt hop on your leg like a dog so he can get more sales like the horror stories of other GWs I hear about) usually I dont go to the GW since my FLGS is better for gaming in every way but there isnt much of a wargaming community there so sometimes I like to go to GW for a pick-up game.

We dont play in LGS anymore because it was not a friendly environment. We play 1000 to 1500 at homes because of time. We play 2000 pts and more in teams.
