Yes, and the dead HT was not a unit. There was no HT unit, just a TG unit.

Old FAQ did indeed have the Tyrant and guard count as separate. We are now waiting to see if they keep that in the new FAQ.

Yes of course.
.
No, you can't.
The Prime could join the TGuard unit. The Prime could join the unit of TGuard+ HT. The Prime cannot join just the HT, regardless if it was with TGuard previously.

The argument is, once joined a hive tyrant is a full member of the tyrant guard unit. Since the hive tyrant is not an IC, then once the tyrant guard are dead, there is nothing that forces to hive tyrant to become a hive tyrant unit again (which is what normally happens with ICs). Therefore, the hive tyrant that was attached is still part of the tyrant guard unit (similar to a lord joined to warriors, if all the warriors are killed, it is still a warriors unit). Since an IC can normally join a tyrant guard unit, a prime could join a hive tyrant that is the only trending model from said unit.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.
Orks always ride in single file to hide their strength and numbers.
