It was out of context?

Its just a shame that they couldn't fight off Andy Chambers.

Well they did reach the optional female side quest stretch goal, so we will be able to play as a woman... for like a few missions. I'm still waiting for the kickstarter that has their male character as the optional stretch goal.

The second video Definetly looks like it delivers on Character Customization to me, would've been weird to _not_ have anyway.
Im a huge fan of settings like this, and after Mount and Blade and Chivalry im glad to see there are other games targeting this niche. Gonna keep a close eye on it at least, but as allways, im careful when this many features are promised.
About the female implementation, I honestly do not care at all. I dont play female characters when given the choice, so it doesnt concern me in the slightest. And I wouldnt have any advice about the implementation either, you can do whatever the feth you want and there will be at least a handful of pages hammering the Sexist-Stamp on the thing anyway. So im just gonna sit it out and judge afterwards.

I think modding this to make it a different timeline and setting would be amazing! Gladiator style game with each win getting you money to buy better equipment and different styles of combat. Then ninjas and samurais, endless possibilities with this combat system and engine...
Actually the more I think of this, a Rome style version of this game would be really nice, pick a faction (barbarians or roman empire)
In each there'd be a sub-faction (Anglo celt, Eire celt, Germanic tribe, scottish celt, Scythia, etc for the barbarians and then Carthage, Praetorian, Athens, Sparta, macedon, Asian auxiliary, African auxialiry etc.) each with its own bonuses and unique classes
Then pick a starting class, each with their own unique skills and starting positions and gear (for the Scottish, a highlander tank with bagpipes and large axe, with skills that benefit people around him when he plays the bagpipes, for the roman, an elite, fast genral style character with a horn, similar to the bagpipes, the difference would be this guy'd be faster and have a javelin)
Damn I can think about this all day, if this game supports mods I'll make this!

A new development video has been posted and frankly it looks rather good. Its all about the combat system which looks like it will be the closest that gaming has ever come to 'real' melee combat.
