You've got quite the flamboyant warband there, Orlando. I particularly like the boys with pimp hats. Your color scheme is really obnoxious, just the way I like it and your painting is clean and crisp. Well done! Looking forward to seeing more.

Thrasher the Enforcer is even less bright than most orks but he does love to fight. He used to be the da Boss of his own mob, but when 'Arry arrived and had a quiet word he was scared into stepping down to be 'Arry's' number two (and it take a lot to scare a stupid Ork)

the power klaw is from Kromlech

Goblinaid interlude

Gaarak is one of the infamous Goblin Bluecaps, a group of strangely disciplined Goblin woodsmen. Deadly in battle and true to their word they are an anomaly amongst their kind. (GA27 Mati Zander's Goblinaid sculpt)

Right the two subordinate members of the Bluetoof Mob are now finished, they have yet to earn the right to wear a snazzy hat and repaint they juggernauts in Mad 'At 'Arry's Mobs colours,

but if they fit in and krump who 'Arry tells them to they'll do OK

I can't get over how awesome all of these guys are! You've inspired me to continue my ork horde, and for that I thank you. Keep up the great work!

Thanks for the kind words Jangus

Right here's the final member of the Juggernaut trio finished. He had the added advantage of having a snazzy hat so was welcomed into Mad 'At 'Arry's Mob as a full member and has had the grots repaint his armour in the Mob's red and purple colour scheme

The only trace of his old allegiance is his blue jaw

Hmmm, I'm not too sure what I really think about those MANZ. I mean the painting is great, but I'm not a fan of the overall modeling of the actual miniatures. Keep up the good work, though!

I've been painting a bunch of the Nobz, but every mob needs Boyz so meet 'Wally'.... Orks and bobble hats..... not an ideal combination

I like the Ekranoplane comparison, they're pretty cool bits of kit

now I've finally finished Pedro and his little 'mule' (well he says it was a mule I suspect it was something nastier when it was alive)

Cheers,

The sombero is several washes of ancient GW snakebite leather over white (Great colour, you can pick it up from Coat D'arm now),

with old GW warlock purple and new GW blue ice highlighted up with white for the decoration (which is cast on which made doing it much easier!)

Since the sombrero's were popular I though 2 gun Gomez was a good next choice

Major thanks to all at Kromlech from whom I managed to win a fantastic prize

a new squad of Juggernauts based on their originals (so new weapons, modified arms, 'robot' heads mixed with the original bodies), if you want them rush to http://www.kromlech.eu/news/new-juggernauts,205.html

NOTE: the heads look too small to actually have Ork heads in so think of them as robot heads with tiny Ork brains in

I've washed them prior to clean up but haven't decided how I'm going to use them yet.

I'll probably build one with a Krash Rocket/Rippa Mega Buzzsaw combo and one with paired Rippa Mega Buzzsaw which leaves 2 to play with

I've seen a pretty sweet conversion using one of these as a grot walker by spinning the body 180 degrees and making some exhaust mods so I may copy that (sorry I can't find where I've seen this to credit the creator but I'll link it in if I find it)

I'm also hankering over a really, really big gun (possibly sacrificing the arms to fit it), so I'll have to look at my tanks kits etc to see what bits I have

Since the bodies are so 'cobbled together' it does not make much sense that you'd have 2 identical ones in an army so I may need to do some minor conversion work on them to help them stay distinct (the mechanicals would stay the same, just need to tweek the armour plates a bit)

Broozer and da 'elpful Grot

It woz no da sort ov end to a fight da Mob liked. Broozer 'ad been krumped good again, and even after da Mech 'ad replaced everfing but iz finking jelly 'e still wozn't moovin. Very sad, especially coz da Mob needed iz Juggernaut for slicing and dicing and none of da otherz wanted ta get sliced up by da Mech afta 'ed messed up wiv Broozer.

Den one of da Grotz speakz up and sez 'e can 'elp Broozer out and get 'im fighing again. After givin 'im a beatin for 'iz cheek da Boss 'Arry told da Grot 'e could 'ave a go. All da mob woz impressed when Broozer was back choppin 'ead off da next day.

The first step was to remove as many of the icons, patches and other detail bits from the torso and legs, I also removed the teeth from around the spot where the Juggernauts head is meant to go (done with a sharp knife you can keep these bits for reuse).

Next I cut off the vertical exhaust stack and repositioned it horizontally at the front of the torso, adding back some of the detail parts to help it look right. The empty space where the exhaust came from was tidied up with greenstuff and one of the Cybork heads placed there.

If you just wanted an alternate Juggernaut you could leave it there (maybe add a big indirect fire rokit coming out of the empty space in the back, or more exhaust pipes coz you can never have too many of those)

but I wanted a Grot pilot so I converted one from a GW mini (I initially wanted to use a Kromlech Sov Grot, but their coats meant it would have been too much work to get them to fit), and gave him a saddle to sit on. replace a few of the detail parts and it's ready to paint
