The gore effects are great, far better than what I could do at your age! Maybe consider using different shades of red to help differentiate between the bloody effects of your poor space marine and the armor/paintjob of your vehicles.

Also, since you seem to be familiarizing yourself with washes, shading, and highlighting, I would say have a go at weathering. Add some dust, mud, or rust effects to your vehicles and give them a dirty, orky feel! I'm sure you're aware of how to drybrush, and if you're really curious, try weathering powders.

Looking really really good I love the gore effect, I assume you achieved that with that rediculously stringy glue? (name slips my mind). Did you paint the red over the top then varnish it? Looks sick

Secondly I quite like the hazard strips all over the place, these are orks! neat lines is a thought they literally cant have. But if you did want neat lines I would recommend masking tape. Simple yet effective at getting nice edges.

You washed with a black wash? Have you got a brown wash? there excellent for giving metal a niec grubby feel. I also love the grot with the pistol on the loota, thats one of my favourite grots of all time

Favourite Game: When your Warboss on bike wrecks 3 vehicles simply by HoW - especially when his bike is a custom monowheel.

When I was thirteen my 'technique' involved splodging as much paint in as many colours as I could manage.

Still do, actually, but now I have smaller brushes.

Anyway, OP, that's great and will only get better!

Personally I like the hazard stripes the way they are. Ork vehciles and decor is supposed to be quite ramshackle. I doubt they have trained grots or boyz who are very accurate when it comes to painting and random placement and sizes just add to the ramshackle look. Good painting by the way!

DO NOT change the hazard stripes at all! If you touch them, I will find you, and slap your paintbrush out of your hand! There is nothing I hate more than seeing those stupid ass checkerboard patterns on Ork stuff. Yes it's part of the fluff, but if Orks were real, there is no way in hell they would take the time out to put that on anything, let alone everything. Your hazard stripes are so elegant in how ramshackle they are. Orks would NOT make them perfect, and they would turn out exactly as you've made them, perfect in their decidedly nu-perfectness. Extremely well done good sir.

Seriously though, your work is phenomenal even for someone twice your age, vastly beyond my own work! How did you do the blood effects? Just tried my first stab using Elmer's glue, tamiya clear red and a hair of black, and while that is good for puddles, I can't work it into much else.

Thanks so much I won't touch them at all and I do the blood effects by buying crappy all purpose glue and mixing it with tamia clear red and not touching the black, then I do the stringing in that light red colour. After I have done the strings I will add a agrax earthshade wash and then top it all off by using your method in the places that the blood would be greater!

I would have to disagree with you there sir, they look very orky.

My vote is to keep the hazard stripes as is as well, i envision orks seeing them on imperial vehicles and feeling superstitious about them, then replicating them in a sketchy way.
