What if your foe has diseases transmittable by blood? Real men pull a Khal Drogo and die for being arrogant and overly masculine?

Caffeinne is a weird thing for me. I get the buzz but I'm apt to sleep better after getting caffeine as other posters have observed. The ladyfriend likes to make fun of me for watching me chug a 20oz Monster, walking to bed and crashing for 3+ hours. Part of my problem is that I know I have dependency. A sustained lack of caffeine will trigger my migraines (caffeine, sleep deprivation, and artifical lights mainly).
I enjoy coffee, but am more apt to drink energy drinks due to convenience. I am in need of breaking the habit again because they are horrible health wise. Tea is what I generally default to since I like it hot or cold.

Real men don't drink energy drinks or take supplements of any sort whatsoever to help them stay awake, they have their patriotic zeal and barely contained rage to keep them alert and functioning when lesser men are turning to things like coffee or monster for a boost.
In regards to caffeine putting some people to sleep, its like a law of diminishing returns. As I understand it, caffeine on its own doesn't keep you awake, but it causes the release of other chemicals that do (or something like that) these chemicals are produced naturally by your body, but you can only produce so much of it over a given period of time. Every time you drink caffeine you prompt a release of these chemicals, but if your body can't produce them as fast as you're releasing them, you'll eventually run out. Couple this with the fact that caffeine acts (as i understand it) as a neurotransmitter inhibitor (specifically for a neurotransmitter associated with drowsiness or whatever), those neurotransmitters build up in your system (since they aren't being metabolized), and eventually you have a situation where your body no longer has the chemical needed to give you that alert feeling coupled with an overabundance of a chemical that is basically designed to make you pass the feth out, and you have the crash.

Because 5 hour energy gives you energy from the massive amounts of Vitamin B (over 10,000% of the daily value when all combined).
And they make them because there are plenty of people out there who can't have caffeine.

I'll have a redbull every now and then, the sugarfree variety. Monster is too intense...my legs will be bouncing up all F'n day like a death metal drummer on that stuff.
This guy at work, he drinks a redbull and 5 hr energy cocktail TWICE a day to stay awake.
I've also known people to require a Monster in the morning. No coffee or tea, straight for the hard stuff.
Haven't tried 5 hr energy yet. For some reason it looks sketchier than all this other crap.
They have an expensive marketing campaign going on right now, that plays wholesome sounding folksy music in the background while they extoll the virtues of their magical elixir.

Ice cold Absolute Zero Monster in the morning tastes like tears of the gods. It is a transcendental experience. It can't be from the fridge. It has to come from an ice chest where it has lain immersed in its icy bowels for several hours before achieving its perfect form.

I have tried exactly one five-hour, and I think it works through the horrible taste alone.

Decaf ANYTHING is pointless.
Decaf anything is fine if you like the taste of it but don't want the caffeine.
If I'm going for a coffee at 11 at night and don't want to be up for the next 4 hours, I make decaf.
If I want a coffee at 11 at night, it's specifically BECAUSE I WANT TO STAY UP FOR THE NEXT 4 HOURS.
If I want to sleep, I don't have a coffee.
If the conversation is especially engrossing, then the coffee isn't even needed. I've stayed up into the wee hours with good friends and the last coffee I'd had was at 8 the previous morning.

Guys that go around talking about what "Real Men" do/like don't deserve to be taken seriously. This is because "what Real Men do/like" is ALWAYS what they themselves do/like. It's smug self-affirmation at its worst.
