The question is not "Should I be able to take a rev titan vs a regular army?" Which is what everyone is adressing.
The thing is, what the OP asked was "should i be able to take titans vs other titans?" And those titans have d weapons also. This is completely different than what yall are talking about.
And i say yes, you should be able to

Well if the other titans are bringing D, then everything is fair game, imo.

What's good for the goose is good for the gander. If they can take their titans, then you should take yours. However, why are you playing with Titans outside of Apocalypse, anyway? That's not my idea of a good time.

Also, is it really your titan they don't want to play? Or is it you?

Im pretty sure its the titan since they are happy to play him without his revenant

Are they, or do they just want to defeat him with their big guns while denying him his own?

What I got from the people at my game store last night was that they didnt want to play against the Revenant because GW made it so overpowered. D weapons ignore all saves. I think you get Fell No Pain but not sure on that one. The only thing that gets a save vs a D weapon is the Eldar Titan Holo Fields. Basically a 4+ dodge at all times which is why people say a Revenant can take down a Reaver. Because statistacally im going to make the Reaver miss 50% of the time. But I have no regenerating void shields either. So what does hit me is permanent damage.

Nope, no FnP from Titan Killers.

The Holofields are still better than the void shields. The voids only come back on a 5+, iirc. Revs always get holo.

You can cancel out a titan's void shields with AT fire to soften it up for D weapons. You can't do that to holos.

They're not wrong.

But they are wrong about barring you from bringing a Titan to a Titan fight. If I'm bringing my own Imperial titans to a fight, then I should damn well expect to be facing an Eldar titan.
