Titanfall's got nothing.

Those aren't titans, these are titans.

Ask yourself: have you rated a gallery image today?

You know, have they ever done a speculation on just how big the Norn Queen is compared to the different sizes of titans?

Well, the Norn Queen is part of a hive ship isn't it?

How big can a hive ship get?

That's the thing, Norn Queens just live on them, and tend to birth most of the swarm as either larvae or eggs. So, it's hard to speculate on the size of the infamous ol' ladies.

Well, it would be limited by the size of the space craft. If a large tyranid vessal is 1000km height, then we can assume the maximum height may be ~800km.

Considering how much young the Norn Queen churns out, we also have to assume it must be fairly large, maybe at least the size of a US aircraft carrier?

Alternatively the Norn Queen isn't that big but instead has very large genetic knowledge and a very large and complex system of birthing related gubbins to enable her to do the job she was created for. (a bit like the end game boss from Earthworm Jim )

As with most things Tyranid, I imagine it would be pretty difficult to determine where the Norn Queen stops and where the birthing organs start. And then where those birthing organs stop and the Hive Ship starts. If indeed there is much of a difference at all and the Norn Queen isn't really just a term we're using for a special, symbiotic collection of organisms.

Consider that almost all Hive Ships can birth Tyranids (up to and including the Scout Drones). This either means that every ship has a Norn Queen, or alternatively that really it is the Hive Ships that spawn the creatures and the Norn Queens are a rarer, more specialized form that performs other tasks (for instance designing new organisms).

Anywho we have no idea, there is no concrete fluff on this subject.
