Tank Hunter =\= Titan Hunter

Titan Hunter has a caveat that it also works versus super heavy vehicles.

As per the current argument regarding tank hunter and SHV, it comes does to this.

Is a SHV a Vehicle? if it is a Vehicle then what Specific rule given to SHV voids tank hunter?

If a SHV is not a vehicle then then what is it?

Where is the rule that states that a SHV is not affected by tank hunter? I have gone through the entire escalation book and I can not find where it states such a thing.

It's under one of the scenarios in the printed version of the book and only the printed version.

Basically, this scenario gives LoW choices special rules, and one of them grants them tank hunter.

Now here's the tricky part; in the printed version, the wording is "The Lords of War unit gains the Titan Hunter special rule (this is the Tank Hunter special rule but it also works against Super-Heavy Vehicles)."

This has given rise to the belief that SHV are immune to Tank Hunter, even though such an immunity was not listed in the SHV rules. As this wording was not in the digital version, the logical conclusion is that the author of the printed version made an error, or was trying to be clever.

Which was not necessary, as SHV were never immune to Tank Hunter to begin with.

So if you have the digital version book take a picture (screenshot) of the same table and post it. To take a screen shot your push the back out button and the lock/power button at the same time. If there is a difference then it will show up there.

It was necessary to denote the difference, otherwise it would not be needed.

But there is no difference. It was an error.
Show me where it says in any other book that SHV are immune to tank hunter. Show me where it says that under Invincible Behemoth.
You'd think that such a rule would turn up in other two books, no?

The only source is in the printed version of the Escalation rules, and not even under the rules section. You might as well claim that terminators get 2+ invulnerable saves, because that's what was in the French version of the Space Marine codex.

I'm not sure you are allowed to post direct copies of rules onto dakka.

If one is allowed though, I will happily attach a screenshot.

It's in print. Show me where it says Tank Hunter works against SHV.

SHV are vehicles. Ergo Tank Hunter works against them. The Invincible Behemoth rule does not change that. IB was very clear that attacks like Entropic strike and attacks that wreck a vehicle outright do not affect SHV. Why leave out Tank Hunter? Your logic does not make sense.
Such an immunity would be under the main rules, not in some obscure table for a single scenario in only 1 version.

Now, show me where it says that Tank Hunter doesn't work on them under the main rules, in all instances in which SHV were mentioned.
The Slayer of Giants result in the printed version of the Escalation book is an error; its no more valid than 2+ invulnerable Terminators.

I think it'd be better to discuss this over in YMDC.
