Subject: Forces of the Ordos Xenos - Transport Pool completed and razorback conversion
Here is my WIP Dreadknight conversion, got to get him and the storm raven painted up by this saturday. Gonna be a busy week, thank god for airbrushes!!
Spoiler:
I replaced the top turret with a FW Twin-Linked lascannon turret. I think it looks cooler as well as put INQ doors on the side.
My second storm raven I am building as the Psybolt gunboat of death with assaultcannons heavy bolters(still MM on the front). Expensive but I will bring it to fun games.
Won my most recent tournament, there were only 8 people there but my scout army did what it was supposed to do. I will be interested in seeing how it does this coming Saturday.

Thank you guys, it was pretty easy. I just modified the one leg at the knee. Shaved down the guys arms so I could match the angle, and then for the top things that connect the arm to the back of the knight I just cut off the tabs so I could pose it more.
Honestly this model is pretty easy to add cool poses to. Also my painting has gotten way better since I made my last two many years ago(I should try and find those pictures)

Alright everyone, I have 24 hours to get about 10 models painted and get a few details done on 20-30 more.
So I figured I would start doing rapid uploads for the next day as I progress to keep myself motivated. Starting with the progress I have made tonight. Uploading in a few minutes
Inquisition/GK
Spoiler:
Henchmen
Grey Knights - Practicing the NMM black that I did on my guys. Really like how it is looking.

Amazing work Leth! Those imperial knights look amazing, though every time I'm tempted to buy one, I wonder how they perform on the tabletop. I've seen a lot of triple knight lists rolling around, how'd they work?

Took them to a local tournament and each game was over in about 50 minutes.
I find that the knights are only as good as the units supporting them. I see knights that are not supported correctly just get crushed. I have found that when the force complements the knights they are almost unstoppable.
Have not used them in 7th as I have been playing other armies(with limited allies for tournaments) but with the changes to vehicle damage and smash a lot of their big threats are gone. After this tournament season I will probably start working knights back into my lists.
Spoiler:
Automatically Appended Next Post: First 1/2 unit done. I painted up my 5 crusaders, even though I am only using three tomorrow. The ones in the back were miscasts with lots of detail problems that I tried to salvage.
Next is the Death Cult Assassins. Gonna take a 5 minute break and start on them next.

I am going as fast as I can!!!(starts crying over paint brushes)
Thunderfire Two done for now, Also did some touch ups on thunderfire 1
Spoiler:
Got a teacher game/hanging out at 6pm and I got to pick up my car at 5 pm. So I got roughly 2 hours to get mister storm raven done......Not sure how much I am going to be able to get done, but he is the last thing I HAVE to get some more paint on, everything else is at least table top quality(although I would like to get more detail on the scouts).
Automatically Appended Next Post: Alright final update before I have to leave for a game:
Cents WIP, good enough for the table
and
Storm Raven: Want to get a little more done on it tonight but it looks pretty good.
Automatically Appended Next Post: .....and DONE, not at 100% but I am happy with how it looks overall. Lots of detail work to do on the road.

Well now that I am back from a month of solid tournaments and being out of state it is back to painting and converting.
Spoiler:
So when the fifth edition space wolves came out I made my thunderwolves out of vypers because I thought it would be very cool. It was and I still had some of them but the conversions had not held up to my newer standards. So I busted them apart got a few bits/more and got to work. I have already converted the guys who will be riding and made pinned their feet so I can just pop them on/magnetized weapons so I can swap them in and out.
Here is the start. I need to wait for the GS to dry so I can take a file and smooth it over.
The other thing on the list is that I have to convert up a void shield generator.....Still no idea how I am going to make one but I am sure a trip to hobby lobby will give me ideas lol.
Automatically Appended Next Post: And now the mostly done ones. Some more finesse green stuffing that I need to do but other than that they are mostly ready to use.

Started painting the calvary. Got a new compressor so I could start airbrushing again. Also wanted to try out my new stencils to see if they worked well. Pretty happy with how it came out, needs some touch up work.
